Wall Clocks, the Ethernet Digital Wall Clocks

By Ali Mulyadi

If you are worrying about your digital wall clocks configuration then worry no more because it really is simple. You can configure a NTP digital clock from any telnet session. You can use your own PC to login to your network, find the device and begin configuration.

The accurate display is obtained from a NTP (network time protocol) or a SNTP (simple network time protocol). Both the NTP and SNTP can be internet/Intranet based. If you give your digital wall clocks an IP address then they will automatically synchronize with that IP's time settings.

Digital wall clocks come with two different display options. One is four digits and the other is six digits. This allows the clocks to display hours, minutes and seconds. The Ethernet NTP digital clocks can even be programmed so that they change time with daylight savings.

The four digit display on digital wall clocks show only the minutes and hours whereas the six digit display on digital wall clocks show hours, minutes and seconds. These two displays come in bold 4 inch high LED lights and as such they can be seen from as far as 50 meters away.

All digital clocks that are NTP enabled will also have PoE. This allows the power from the Ethernet to power the clock should the mains cut out. This simplifies installation and only uses a CAT5 cable to power the unit. With PoE you will no longer need a mains outlet where you intend to site the clock.

If your network is PoE enabled then you can plug and go with your digital wall clocks but if you do not have a PoE network then you can always opt for a midspan converter which is the equivalent to a small power supply.

You can mount these clocks in any way that you like. You can choose to wall mount it (most of the Digital wall clocks will come with two pre drilled holes, some come with a more sophisticated mounting system). With some clocks you can even invest in a mounting kit that will allow you to suspend them from the ceiling.

The ceiling mounting kits are designed so that you can use either one or two digital wall clocks (two clocks back to back) to show across the office/ warehouse in two directions. You can adjust the times of these clocks independently with different time zones showing on each. This can all be done from a PC and therefore does not need to be monitored or need any additional software/hardware. They can even be set to change in accordance with daylight savings.

Why Does Your Car Must Have A Vehicle Speed Sensor?

By Mbonda Nkopit

You may be wondering why precisely your vehicle requires an auto speed sensor. Obviously knowing how fast you are going is crucial, but how exactly is this information used and why is it necessary? Find out for yourself the power of the auto speed sensor under.

A vehicle speed sensor is basically far more complicated than what you may have realized. Today's sensors essentially make the vehicles you drive safer and protect the passengers from a spread of perils, by acting in ways and at speeds that humans simply can't do.

The first invention with the automobile speed sensor came in the antilock brake systems, or ABS, which we all now know about. By capitalizing on magnetic and electric currents, the velocity of the wheels may be more meticulously and quickly gauged compared to older techniques.

Moving on in our look at the car speed sensor from antilock brakes, next up are traction control systems. Traction control systems were a natural development from ABS, and they have the added power of having the ability to compare and adjust for the speed of the driven wheels from the velocity of the wheels on the other axis.

The powers of antilock brakes and traction control have made automobiles over the decade or 2 noticeably safer than they were formerly. Having the power of a vehicle speed sensor in all vehicles has saved many lives, and now manufacturers have been taking things a step further.

The most recent technology is a total electronic stability control system. This type of system builds on these technologies for a far more complete automobile speed sensor. In truth, multiple sensors are utilized in the wheels, the wheel, the brakes and the throttle to color a complete picture of an auto's performance and your reactions in all situations.

Thus if you are taking a turn too sharply or hit a slick spit, all these factors are instantaneously computed and a reaction is immediately put into effect, saving many accidents from ever going down. Early reports have shown that this application of the car speed sensor has reduced significant injuries from single car collisions by as much as 50%.

While many folks feel that a car speed sensor permanence system must now be compulsory, they aren't yet. Nevertheless, in certain regions to have a 5 star safety rating the vehicle must make use of a vehicle speed sensor system in this way. If you're attempting to find the most in security for you and your relations, purchase an auto that features this kind of safety.

Easy Home Decorating Ideas

By Heather Smith

Sometimes all it takes to liven up a room is a little thought and care about a few items or accents. Here are some quick tips to spark your thinking about improving your home decor.

The most important thing is to create a focal point for every room. Focal point is the main feature, decoration, furnishing or spot in the room that draws attention.

Any main feature in a room can be its focal point, such as a balcony with a garden view, a sliding door leading out into the foyer or a built-in revolving cabinet for storing and displaying collectibles or liquors. If the room doesn't have any striking feature, you can easily make one. It can be anything from an area rug to a large mirror, or an artwork to photos on the wall.

If you can't decide on what to make as your focal point, consider something that reflects your personality or style. It can also be a piece special to your family. You will have an ideal focal item too if it's something that can be the subject of conversation with your guests, and any personal item with a good anecdote makes a good candidate.

Coordinate prints and patterns. Give your home decor the look of a professional interior designer's work by learning how to coordinate patterns and prints in wallpapers and fabrics.

In order to coordinate properly, ensure that the background colors for the patterns or prints are the same. There should be a uniform look. Make sure too that the colors in the pattern are the same, hence its name, right? Finally, spice up the patterns by pairing with a textured or plain fabric.

Small changes mark the seasons. Fresh up your decor from season to season with a few small changes.

Getting an item that can be used for the different seasons such as a reversible drapery panel is a good way to save money. You don't have to buy new pieces every time the season changes. It's also a good idea to invest in quality seasonal decorations such as floral fabrics for summer and spring, and dark-colored, thick fabrics for autumn and winter.

Changing your decors to fit the season is the fastest way to have a room makeover. In addition, it will give your home a stylish look, well-suited to the current time.

Mark the season's change with extra warmth as well. Replace a cotton bedcover with a down duvet and a light throw with a heavier afghan when the weather cools down.

Fabrics vary according to their function. They don't only differ in colors or designs but more importantly, in texture.

Cotton is one very dynamic fabric that can be used for practically everything. It comes in various colors, finishes and patterns. Cotton is the material of choice for drapes, table linens and covers.

The exact opposite is velvet. This fabric is more formal and sophisticated. The texture too is thicker. It may be a smooth material but it is very durable. Others are nylon and polyester that are made to resemble natural materials like cotton, linen, leather and suede.

To complete the fabrics, denim and linen offer a different look to your furnishings. Denim is sturdy and great for laidback spaces, while linen looks amazing when pressed.
