About Power Screwdrivers

By Colin Jones

Have you ever had to cope with a obstinate screw that just would not go into the material as easily as you wanted? How about one that would not come out for you either? This is annoying as well as time wasting. Power screwdrivers are a great resolution for these issues. They are very effective and inexpensive.

In line power screwdrivers are intended for fundamental household projects. They are not very powerful, but more than adequate to get the task finished. For heavy duty work, think about using a drywall screwdriver. Some models offer a range of speeds. There are a number of models to select from. Some are very similar in design to a basic screwdriver. Other are shaped like the number seven, with a handle for you to channel the screws in. Others come with a handle that swings to help you to get into just about any angle you can come across.

Select a electric screwdriver that fits well in your hand. Some of the handles are coarse and others have a soft, foam grip on them. Hold the electric screwdriver in your hand and see how it feels after a few minutes. If you will be using it for long periods of time then comfort is very important. You don't want to finish up with sore hands or blisters.

Different power screwdrivers have varying amounts of torque power and speeds. You will need to evaluate this information before deciding on the power screwdriver you wish to buy. Take some time to appraise what each power screwdriver is suggested for. Compare that with the work you are likely to undertake with the power screwdriver.

It is a good idea to maintain your power screwdriver fully charged. This will give you the best possible results from it. If the battery doesn't hold a charge for very long, you will to swap the battery. Some people choose to buy a second battery from the start so that they can have one charging and one in the power screwdriver. This is highly recommended if you are going to be using the power screwdriver on a regular basis.

For those of you who aim to use your electric screwdriver regularly, think about buying a electric screwdriver kit. It comes with a sturdy carrying case. Inside you will find the power screwdriver and a slot for each accessory. You will normally get many sizes of tips to use. It will also include a power cord. Some of the power screwdriver kits also include an extra battery as well as a charger that plugs into your cigarette lighter. You can get a electric screwdriver kit at a much better price than having to purchase extras individually.

Very few accidents actually occur from using a electric screwdriver, but they can. While using a electric screwdriver, remember the driving force behind it. Both of your hands should be away from the part that turns. The turning blade can cut your hand if you aren't careful. It is a safe idea to use eye protection as well.

Electric screwdrivers will drive through almost anything. It is very important that you make sure there are no power cords or wires behind the area where you are screwing. Keep your hair pulled away from your face too. Leaning forward to establish your progress can result in loose hair getting caught and twisted on the blade.

Steelers Win 12th Straight Over Browns

By Ross Everett

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been playing the Cleveland Browns for longer than any other team in the National Football League, dating back to'50. And while it hasn't been quite that long since the Cleveland Browns won a game against the Steelers it may be starting to feel like it. On Sunday, Pittsburgh won for the twelfth straight time dating back to 2003 as they topped Cleveland by a final score of 27-13. The defending Superbowl champions improved to 4-2 while the Browns fell to 1-5.

The good news for NFL betting enthusiasts who took the +13' with the Browns as a road underdog is that they managed to cover the pointspread by the slimmest of possible margins. Betting against the defending Superbowl champion is a long standing handicapping concept, and this season at least its worked like a charm-the Steelers have only covered one of their first six games. Cleveland, meanwhile, evened their NFL pointspread record at 3-3 on the season. The Browns have covered three straight after dropping their first three both straight up and against the spread. The 40 combined points went OVER the posted total of 37'.

Pittsburgh dominated the game in virtually every statistical category. They amassed 28 first downs to 12 for Cleveland, held a 543 to'7 total yardage advantage and a 36:46 to 23:14 time of possession advantage. Both teams turned the ball over four times, and the Steelers led only 17-14 in the third quarter. Most of the post game talk from both sides was about a controversial spot in the first half where the Steelers were given a first down on a short yardage play when it appeared that they didn't make the required yardage.

After the contest, Derek Anderson spoke of the frustration of continually coming up short against the Steelers. The Browns have only one once in ten games since Pittsburgh moved into their new home at Heinz Field:

"We're not trying to lose every time we go out here. We put tons of hours in and ... it's frustrating. Every single week, it's frustrating."

Steelers' tight end Heath Miller said the team is happy to be where they are at this point despite not playing up to their standards:

"I think we haven't played our best ball yet and that's pretty comforting. We've gotten a few wins here without playing our best."

The Steelers will host Brett Favre and the 6-0 Minnesota Vikings next Sunday. The Steelers are a -4 home favorite with the total set at 45. After a bye week, the Steelers will hit the road to play another undefeated team as they take on the Denver Broncos on Monday, November 9. Cleveland will host the Green Bay Packers this Sunday, with the Browns a +7 home underdog and the total set at 42'.

Christmas Gift Baskets for Men

By Juliette Crane

Buying gifts for men can be difficult. Buying for women is so much easier! You know the routine. "Dad, what would you like for your birthday?" "Oh, I really don't need anything, but thanks! A birthday cake will be fine." Hmm. Men are so reluctant to give you a clue and they typically do not admit there's anything they need or want. So, before you go out and get him another tie, check out these ideas for some macho gift baskets for men. You can make it yourself or purchase online.

You can fill gift baskets for him with food items if you wish, and that is always something that is appreciated. This is especially good for the single guy that does not like to shop or cook. I know this is something that we often get for my dad. He lives on his own and is not a great cook. When we find something he likes that we can include in a gift basket, it saves him from cooking a few meals, and he is always happy to get this.

You can also make up Christmas gift baskets that have the ingredients for a meal that he loves, but does not know how to cook. By including the ingredients and simple directions, he can have the meal that he wants with a little help from us. You don't have to make these either, as you can find them online.

You can also think about a man's interests when you want to get gift baskets for him. If he likes golf, you simply add things like golf balls, gloves, and perhaps prepaid time on a driving range or at a course that he likes to use. You should also include a gift certificate at a local sporting goods store so he can get what it is that he needs.

You could also get him new golf grips to include in the gift baskets for him, but that is a risky buy if you don't know that they need new ones or which ones to buy.

You can incorporate almost anything into gift baskets for him if you wish, or you can buy them pre-made. No matter what it is that they like, you can find something that will go good in a basket.

You can also find gift basket supplies in other places. You can find items in any department store, or you can shop in all of the specialty stores in your area. What you buy will be up to you, because you are the only one who knows what items you really want to put into a basket. You can get gift basket supplies by shopping online as well, and don't forget to include things like gift certificates if you are running low on ideas, or feel that something seems to be missing.
