So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Build Your Staff Loyalty - Give The An Unexpected Gift

By Don Wong

Awareness of corporate gifts is relatively lesser than that of personal gifts, which are given to friends and families by individuals. These gifts, unlike personal gifts, are given to clients or people working in your organization to convey thankfulness for their patronage or service.

Corporate gifts are typically expensive items and they do not feature any company symbol or brand name, as their purpose is not marketing or promotion. On the other hand, a variety of gift items are often given away for promotional purposes, for example, stationery objects, USB drives, or key chains. In such cases, the items are often marked with the company's logo before they are given away to workers or potential clients.

Just like any other gifts, the selection of a corporate gift should be according to the liking of the individual to whom the item is to be presented. Although custom and costly gifts are given to important clients of the company, the employees are usually given the same type of gift, which is not very expensive, but serves a useful purpose.

In order to reinforce and promote a good relationship with a client or a member of the staff, it is essential to remember that the apparent worth of the corporate gift is critical. Prior to giving a corporate gift, you should consult with your legal department regarding any restrictions that may have been imposed by law on this act.

Preparation for giving corporate gifts involves figuring out a budget, deciding upon the quantity of gifts, and finding out good deals available in the market for a mass purchase. The preparation is more important with respect to employee gifts, even more so if your business is a mid-sized or large entity. Make sure to buy enough so that every employee whom you desire to thank by means of a corporate gift is covered.

Giving away corporate gifts to customers and staff aids in strengthening the professional association, and it is a good business practice to follow. But don't forget to keep the legal and financial aspects in mind.
