So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Types Of Coffee Ladue Missouri

By Juliette Clemons

When craving a coffee Ladue has the solution. Many different businesses offer caffeinated beverages. Beans from around the globe can be bought and brewed at multiple locations. Individuals searching for beans that are organic and fair trade, or that come from a certain area, can find what they seek. An added bonus is that most locations also offer free internet access and accept both cash and credit.

Local Ladue coffee houses offer many kinds of beans. An example of this is the variety offered from Latin America alone. One has ten varieties from Latin America, one has eight, and another has three. These include some medium Columbian, full-bodied Peruvian, and mild Costa Rican beans.

The beans from Columbia are gathered atop the Andes, at elevations reaching thousands of feet. These contain fruity flavors with hints of walnut and a brewed cup is recommended alongside pecan pie. The beans from Peru have a rich and full flavor with complementary chocolate undertones. From Costa Rica are beans that brew a highly acidic, medium bodied, and mildly fruity beverage. The fruity flavors are the result of the beans being gathered at a peak level of ripeness.

Beans are also available from the African and Arabic regions of the world, specifically from Kenya and Ethiopia. Variety varies from location. Most offer a mixture of strong and fruity flavors.

One shop offers four different regional options, all described as bold with fruity or spicy undertones. Another has a single Kenyan option that is used for rich, heavy, and highly acidic beverages. The Ethiopian product has additional fruitiness and a more medium level body. The Ethiopian beans at another business contain both fruity as well as creamy and a rich milk chocolate taste. The Kenyan product creates a beverage with the acidity of wine accompanied by a buttery body.

A region also covered by local shops is the Pacific and Asia. At one location, beverages from these regional beans are bold and taste of herbs and earth. The consistency can be either smooth or syrupy, depending on exact origins. Another shop has a dark roast with a full flavor, mild acidity and heavy body. It also contains a quality of smokiness. One business has a bean that gives off three unique flavors: herb, clove and banana.

In addition to all of these, businesses also have organic, fair trade, or both organic and fair trade options. Customers know that organic beverages are pure and free of residual chemicals. They can also count on a fair trade product that has been grown responsibly as well as traded ethically.

Beverages of all kinds can be found in Ladue. They come from beans all around the world and with different tastes and aromas. For the customer wanting an organic or fair trade beverage, more than one option is available. With all the possibilities, every desire for caffeine should be met.
