So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Dark Chocolate Truffles

It cannot be farther from the truth; yes dark chocolates are healthy. It is a common notion that chocolates is a temptation because it is a sin to consume such an unhealthy, heavenly-tasting sweets. That must be qualified as it does not apply to dark chocolate truffles and dark chocolate confectioneries.

Yes, a no-bake sweet ready just in time for the blowing of candles. Exactly what does it take to learn how to make chocolate truffles? Elle Woods, the character that Reese Witherspoon played, said that, "Well, just like exercise, dark chocolate produces endorphins and endorphins make people happy". Is this what makes chocolates so special as it wraps a chocolate-eater with contentment and love?

Pour the cream over the chocolate while continuously stirring until the chocolate is fully melted and has blended with the cream. There are polyphenols, specifically flavanols in cocoa and chocolate that relaxes and distends the arteries, thus aiding in the management of hypertension and coronary diseases. It is really amazing that chocolates can: lower blood pressure; suppress building up of plaques blocking arteries; prevent blood clots. Chocolates also have anti-oxidant properties that fend off free-radicals due to its flavanol content. Free-radicals are unstable by-products of the body that must be warded off to prevent deterioration of the body. They can make the body grow old fast. So, eating chocolate can recharge your antioxidant capacity to look healthier and younger. Now that is a delectable way to looking and feeling good, isn't it?

The last step could also be skipped so it may be included in the program. They have the option of which toppings to use while having fun. Don't ever down it by gulping milk which mothers used to do to load up their kids with nutrients whenever there is an opportunity to do it. Washing down the chocolate with milk will likely prevent the absorption of the good components of the chocolates. Eating chocolate and dark chocolate truffles is not just about pleasure anymore, yet who's to deny that as one gobble it up on the pretext that it similarly promotes good mood and health.
