The sensor light by itself could be manually rotated 360-degrees and slightly tilted in an angle for a much more directional publicity. Movement sensor is effective.
Following searching Amazon for an answer, I stumbled upon these.
I had been hoping for more with 10 LEDs. If you are seeking a wireless, motion-activated light to illuminate a little area, I would suggest this one. I removed batteries again and left the sensor facing the back of device so there'd be no movement activation. A fifth star would be attained if they had been higher quality, but for the cost, they do precisely what I needed and I am pleased as punch. We now have it set up below our out door covered front door. Only issue was the screw that holds it on in the middle was too long and I needed to cut it.
I live in the Pacific Northwest and it rains a lot. I actually do find it helps about once per week to wipe the face area of the lights down. The light is extremely bright and is effective. They're extremely lightweight, and looks just like the image. I liked it so much I purchased a second one for the front of the home. These lights are completely worthless for my objective. The LEDs are adequately bright.
We just set them where needed and always move them. It was extremely windy yesterday and I wanted to determine if a powerful wind (winter season snow storm) would trigger it to go 'on' and perhaps stay 'on' for very long periods of time however the wind yesterday did not trigger it. The sensor part of this motion sensor outdoor lighting works very well. It lasted less than ten months. They don't work with Compact Flourescent Bulbs (CFB). Uses 3xAA batteries so ought to last a while (when compared with lights that use AAA). Positioned behind door jamb inside a closet it lights up whenever you put any part of your body through the opening. The only issue is that the thirty second on-time is simply too short. I'll probably purchase a different one.
Positioned it in corner of stairs landing, it's angled up toward the next flooring. No wiring! It really works great - light bright enough where I need it without needing to wire anything.
I purchased three of these to put in my clothes closet, in a high rise concrete building.
