So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Marketing Yourself As A Personal Chef Atlanta

After finishing a course in catering, you may think that it is easy to acquire a job. Your hopes may easily turn into frustrations once you later discover that it is not easy to secure a job in your profession. That is the point you should sit down with a pen and paper and figure out what is it that you are not doing right. To make a good advertisement, begin first with creating a professional biography. Note that you have been doing things the wrong way if you have been looking for a culinary job without a bio. A bio that would likely secure you a culinary job contains a detailed educational background and your specialties in cooking. State the types of food that you prepare extremely well.

One important thing to remember is to compose honest information about yourself. Also avoid praising yourself so much and trying hard not to get out of the main subject. When stating your job experience, be as honest as possible instead of giving out false information. Even if you have no experience at all, do not feel ashamed about it. Include anything else which can play a significant role in winning you a job.

If for instance you obtained some awards in inter school culinary competitions, make sure you mention them. The next step is to think of where you will post your bio. The easiest and cheapest way is to create a website. In the website, add other key details that cannot be included in a bio for example recipes of foods you have made so far. Make sure that the recipes are well written and contain no errors or deceitful information.

Recipes will describe your experience much more. It would be a major boost if you can include pictures of the foods you have prepared before if you have them. Photos have the ability to capture the attention of clients much quicker than plain words.

Take advantage of the social media too. Advertising through a social network is cheaper and easy. You are required to create a page that describes the services you offer and invite friends to follow what goes on in the page. Advise them too to invite other friends as well.

Just like you would do in a website, make sure you do not leave out key info such as pictures. Remember also to list all the ways you can be easily reached. Another form of advertisement is through a newspaper or food magazine although it might be more costly than the other two methods.

Also, the advertisements will not last for long but for a short time as agreed between you and the newspaper or magazine company. There is a difference in paying for an advert that will be displayed for three consecutive days and that displayed for one day in a newspaper. The chances that you will not be employed as a personal chef Atlanta after doing all these are very minimal.
