So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

The Best Foods To Prepare With Breakfast Seasonings

By Elena McDowell

Despite knowing that it is the most important meal of the day, a lot of people still miss breakfast. Some people blame their busy morning schedules, others have no idea what to eat and some cannot stand the sight of food in the morning. Scientific research has proven that this meal jump starts the metabolism process and provides energy to get by during the day. To avoid the monotony of early dishes, dietitians recommend the use of various breakfast seasonings to spruce up the experience.

Cinnamon tea and coffee are common in many kitchens. The popularity of this herb hails from its polyphonic properties that allow it to regulate the levels of sugar in blood. Cinnamon adds a sweet, tantalizing aroma to tea. The taste is rejuvenating and helps to keep the brain awake. Cinnamon is also used to marinade stew, meats and fruits.

Rosemary tea is the definition of heaven to vegetarians and health buffs. This spice contains plenty of carbonic acid which limits the activity of free radicals in the brain. So essentially, it lessens the risk of heart disease, cancer and stroke. The pungent smell of rosemary may be a little discouraging but the benefits far outweigh the costs.

Bacon is an iconic dish in the kitchens of many first world individuals. The mouth watering aroma of these soft pork strips is enough to create hunger pangs. Bacon is simple to cook and can be done in a few minutes. It is best enjoyed when marinated with spices such as capsaicin, turmeric and thick meat sauces. Bacon is a filling dish that provides enough calories to fit your daily energy requirement.

Ordinary tea and bread no longer cuts it as an inspiring morning dish. However, many individuals go for this option since it is the easiest to prepare. Tea or coffee can be spruced up by adding a dash of ginger. This additive is composed of chemicals that have anti inflammatory properties. This explains why ginger is a common component in cough syrup, and its use in relieving headaches.

Eggs are undoubtedly the kings of the breakfast table. These little dishes are packed with proteins and energy giving fats. Eggs are popular for their versatility in cooking. They can be prepared in a hundred different ways, all with amazing results. Eggs can be poached, scrambled, fried, boiled or eaten as an omelet. They are fried in a skillet with tomatoes, onions, parsley and a host of other spices.

Cold pizza might not be your idea of a healthy way to start your day, but takeout is actually quite common in many homes. As pizza cools, the taste of cheese, pineapples, onions and toppings change. This may make the food taste different from last night. Since pizza is kind of a heavy and greasy meal, it provides enough energy to bet by during the day.

Using breakfast seasonings is the best way to add dynamism to your food. This is a significant meal that provides the requisite energy and mental strength to perform difficult tasks. Some misguided individuals think that missing breakfast saves them from gaining extra pounds. However, this notion has been repeatedly ridiculed by nutritionists.
