So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

How Distracted Driving Solutions Benefits You Financially And Safely

By Lisa Barnes

Driving a vehicle is an essential skill that every young adult should learn. Driving takes away the hassle of using public transport. However there are certain dangers that are still found on the road.

There are many types of disturbances that happen during your driving one of these are receiving a text or phone call on the highway. In many distracted driving solutions texting is often considered the most dangerous out of all disturbances surveyed. However most disturbances are classified into three categories.

These are visual which refers to removing your eyes from the route before you. And checking other things such as your cellphone, soda spilling on your floor, and other kinds of distractions that require your attention off the road. Because this many people often find themselves colliding with other vehicle seconds after they have fixed the problem.

Cognitive refers to day dreaming or when you think about other things aside from maneuvering the vehicle correctly. However other factors that include in identifying potential road crash candidates are demographics. Demographics is data relating to group and population that is used for statistics.

Texting has been ranked as the number one reason why people suffer car crashes most reckless people are always on the phone yapping their life away. So have less reaction time than most alert drivers. Alert drivers are always focused in the mind, but unlike most people these special group does not exist and only a small portion of individuals do practice safety.

Every driver who has been driving for a very long period are often complacent because they forget how dangerous it was back when they were still starting out. Complacency makes you forget for a moment that this is very dangerous. That is why people can easily slip their minds off the road to dream or text.

Fatigue is one major culprit of many accidents, in this time and age where many things need to be done before the end of the day. Most people find it hard to concentrate in one area for a very long time. It takes a lot of time for many distracted drivers to regain back their focus on the route.

Because the mind is not focused at the road, or aware of other vehicles around them. And usually getting ahead of others and making sure they are fast enough to do it. They reduce their reaction time a lot more than those who alert and aware of their surroundings.

Recent conversations on phone whether it is text or call can cause a latency state in many drivers. Studies have shown latency lasts for a good 27 seconds. And most are not able to revert into an alert mode because their mind is still wandering on what had happened in the conversation. In many surveys drivers who have experience reckless driving can often pinpoint other drivers fault instead of their own. It is easier to be safe with this information.
