Dynamics of Speed Reading: Day One

By Dr. Jay Polmar

Be Dynamic Through Speed Reading method, by Dr. Jay Polmar, is designed for those who read large volumes of printed material. Sometimes they get frustrated when they can't keep up with all the intriguing literature that is released. Authors around the world produce printed data and fiction, at a rate so phenomenal, that even the most avid of readers struggle to keep up. With our DYNAMIC SPEED READING method, you'll easily be able to read twice to three times the amount you now read in the same time.

The human brain/mind is capable of comprehending and cataloging from 10,000 to 50,000 units of information per minute (one unit being equal to one word) and this is based upon old statistics. Based on new technology in education and strides in self-development, your brain/mind is capable of much more.

The human body is a vehicle that records various senses and transfers them to our brain/mind. The brain/mind acts like a computer. Perhaps the brain/mind is the body's operational computer to make easier for us to learn. We learn through information (data) that is transmitted in many ways. We receive data through our five physical senses, and our brain/mind makes decisions, choices and judgments from those factors.

The limitations in reading were programmed during childhood when we were first taught to read. Yet, brain/mind researchers have shown that through DYNAMIC SPEED READING techniques, thousands have broken that pattern and increased speeds dramatically.

This course teaches techniques for becoming Dynamic. We expect you, minimally, to become a speed reader who likes to read and improve the quality of your life. Maximally, we expect great, positive successes from our students. A beginning average reading speed for the average American high school graduate is about 250 words per minute. Those from the south read somewhat slower because of their drawl. Those who stutter also read slower. An average college student reads approximately 300 w.p.m.

Please take note: Recent studies have indicated that the English reading rate has dropped due to poor education in the past decade. The reduction of reading speed is astounding averaging 35% poor reading rates in the US. Be Dynamic undoes the damage made by the poor education system and was developed by Dr. Jay Polmar, who studied in the US when education mean something special and reading was king.

By Dan Wilson

In the large metropolis of Cincinnati, a Cincinnati automotive locksmith is important and vital for safety. They make sure the homes, hospitals, storage facilities, cars, and stores of the city are all secured and safe from possible intruders. In a city with a population of over 2 million, that's pretty important. They also are a big help when keys break, or when keys are accidentally locked in the car or the house. Most people call them first, and they are nearly always there to help as soon as possible. But locksmiths also do a variety of other things. Locksmiths not only fix locks, they can create them as well.

Even in criminal investigations; determining how a lock was first broken or fixed in a robbery for example, forensic locksmiths are there to help. Some locksmiths work out of their vehicle or are commercial and work out of a store front. Still others work for for an institution, and even more, like as a security consultant. There hundred or so locksmith companies not only work in Cincinnati Ohio, but most offer services to other smaller cities nearby.

Some locksmiths specialize in different areas of this skill. For instance, an automotive lock specialist creates, fixes, and designs locks for cars. There's also a master key system specialist who does complex lock systems, like locks with codes and so forth. And don't forget the safe technician, who designs, creates, and fixes different types of safes and lock styles. There are other areas a locksmith specializes in but those are the three top ones.

Locksmiths are often certified in specific skill areas, or to a certain skill level. Though, this is different from certification of training course completion. When skill levels are determined, certifications from manufacturers and locksmith associations are usually more legitimate than certificates of completion of training courses. A legitimate locksmith should be accredited by the Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA).

A locksmith can deal with all types of locks and keys; they don't do just certain types. Most locksmiths also do other kinds of work besides locks and keys, like door hardware. They can do frame repairs, door hinges, electric strikes, door closers, and other such things. Those are just a few; they also work on intercom systems, garage door locks, iron works, gates, and making or repairing ignition keys.

Locksmiths are important to Cincinnati for safety reasons, and for convenience. Safes are often made by locksmiths, and safes are important so that we can safely keep valuables that would otherwise be left for someone to steal easily. Without locksmiths in Cincinnati, Ohio, our safety would be greatly compromised, and it would be much more difficult to keep our valuables untouched.

Monitoring Your Staff Remotely Using CCTV

By Ben Sparks

If you own or manage a chain of businesses, you can never really know what your employees are doing. Are they waiting on customers, are they really busy, or are they goofing off in the break room? With the installation of a CCTV system, the questions of what are they doing? Is answered by "Your CCTV system knows.

CCTV cameras placed throughout the stores not only reduce the amount of shoplifting but provide managers the opportunity to view the day to day activities of the staff at the site. This real time observation provides an accurate and definitive answer as to how the staff at any site is performing their duties.

Every organization has both strong and weak employees. That is a fact of doing business. The only way to identify who the weak employees are is through monitoring their activities. This monitoring can be accomplished through the use of a field supervisor who will make unannounced visits to the remote locations. This is an ineffective utilization of the field manager. A better solution is the remote monitoring of the location to identify the actions of the weak employee.

Remote monitoring of a location also provides the manager of the stores the ability to move personnel from a store that is "slow" to one that is "in the weeds". Without the ability to remotely monitor locations, the manager of the stores will never know which store is understaffed which consequently leads to customer dissatisfaction due to slow service. Remote monitoring permits the manager to utilize available floating staff to rapidly move from location to location.

While the remote monitoring of the store is done in a covert manner, the staff of the store can and should know that their actions in the store can be monitored at any time. This knowledge will in itself insure that the employees will provide the best service to all of their customers at all times. The knowledge that "big brother" could be watching will also serve as a deterrent to employee theft. A proper CCTV installation at remote locations will provide an ROE that is both rapid and measurable.
