I will update this evaluation after six months use. After I requested exchange, I would have to pay for shipping it back again. Still on the original set of batteries after six months.
They're far better looking than we had, simple to install, and incredibly afforable in comparison to what you will find in the shops. From afar they make the home look better. The light includes a sensor that it is supposed to turn on when it will get dark. It is good that the LEDs use less energy, however these weren't bright enough. After the light was not working, I realized that it's the light that's faulty.
I really like its looks. To use the template to mark where the holes should be drilled for the mounting screws, I could not use a pen or pencil on the dark-colored tree bark. The fixture was designed to be mounted with the integrated surface mount box. It's real glass, not some plastic piece. The glass is stunning and the entire construction is solid. I cannot comment on long-term support as I've only had these about a month, but if you prefer the look, and want the function this light has (dual-bright), do it now. As it is positioned, it illuminates my whole door, the area instantly surrounding it and the top 2 steps leading to it. You will find five issues with the light.
We now have one by our door and one by the back door. After looking at it is specs, I ordered it. It not only aids in parallel parking on a dark road at night, but additionally helps you to deter car break-ins.
To get around this, I am using a dimmable CFL, which solved the "poof" problem.
I have four of these models so when they work they work perfectly. Recommend to any or all looking for those spots where you require light and have no wall socket nearby. They're very attractive and appear to be simple to install. It's not going to turn on unless it is dark outdoors.
The light includes a handful of duration settings so I'm certain the three year battery life is dependant on a restricted number of the shortest light duration setting. It took about a day's sunlight before it shown up brightly during the night. The outdoor flood lights never dims. Lots of light for my grill.
I was concern it might not look great on the home being that many individuals use it for office buildings.

About the Author:
The 3 way light bulbs glare into our home and blind us as we are trying to go down our steps. At idle it uses half the bulb wattage makes the outdoor flood lights keep going longer and more energy efficent.
