Most things to do with a wedding are expensive, so it may be easier just to save up that $10-50 each week than to buy things as you go. For example, you may be able to put down a $50 deposit for a caterer (if you use one), but you're going to have to fork over a whole lot more just before the event. However, there are a few things you can get now that are relatively inexpensive. You have your dress, but you may still need accessories, such as a veil, jewelry, slip, shoes, stuff for your hair, etc. Think about it now, so you won't have to later.
I forgot to mention I know that it is the brides day and as I was reading comments I saw this but I am not wanting it to be like encrusted with diamonds or have shimmer shimmer on it cause imp not that girl ...I think the fake diamonds look tacky and I want it to be cute...I am the girl who would rather wear sweat pants but I am also the girl that can dress nice...but I was thinking about wearing a by maroon hat too but my family said they would make me take it off no matter how funny it was
Answer: No matter how much you may want your crush to notice you, you cannot wear anything that is bright or that attracts attention because you'll detract attention from the bride and groom. I know, it's something that's over-said, but it's true. I mean, I would absolutely HATE you if you wore a diamond-encrusted neon floral-print super-short dress to my wedding. My fianc would probably kill you before I did if all the guests were talking about you instead of him (he's a very jealous man).
I would definitely recommend not spending so much money on a veil. It was an important element for me as well...I obsessed over mine. I ended up making my own. I understand that not everyone is crafty. There are tons of amazing and beautiful veils that can be made to your specifications at www.etsy.com. This is a great outlet for planning a unique and beautiful wedding.
You can check out local bridal shops, where they have prom dress and home coming dresses, or even bridesmaids dresses for sale or on clearance. One of my groomsmen's girlfriend bought a very beautiful dress for my wedding, and she spent I want to say $40? And the dress was originally $300. Look at any store that sells dressing for prom or home coming you'll hit the jack pot. But if you don't spend even that much, you could check out thrift stores, or even vintage shops, they run quite cheap and you can find some pretty wonderful things!!! I know Target also has some super cute dressy dresses for less the $40. Nothing too fancy, but simply elegant!
