So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Byron Bay Blues Festival Fun And Festivities

By Byron Jonas

The Byron Bay Blues Festival other wise known as the Blues Fest is a Blues and Roots five day event. It happens every year and there is the capacity for 17,500 visitors to attend it over the duration of the five day special event. It is always of importance to book as early as you possibly can or you may be have some difficulty finding somewhere to stay.

Something to consider is the cost of a booking agent. Although this is the quickest way to get a place it is also fairly costly due to commissions being added to tariffs. You can always try to book somewhere yourself but unless you do it well in advance you may not get the outcome for which you had hoped.

There are of course many places you may consider staying such as camping grounds, apartments and units, caravan parks, cottages, cabins to name just some of the places. Other places you might try are guesthouses, hostels or hotels. But what is available if you haven't booked well enough ahead may be sparse to say the least.

There are wide ranging enthusiasts who attend this festival such as artists, contractors, stall holders and many more people besides. Media and reviews have been positive for this fun yearly event. If you are wondering where it is held then it is now held at Tyagarah.

There is plenty of online site information available. Tyagarah Tee Tree Farm sits on 120 hectares of ground. It is 11 kilometres north of Byron Bay, and 8 kilometres south of Brunswick Heads. It is a working Tee Tree farm for most of the year.

There are four licensed bars as well as easy to access beer garden with a big screen. There are also six performance stages which you can watch Artists performing from easily. The beer garden also has a sit down area that is undercover for your relaxation and enjoyment.

There are also many assorted market stalls. There are also food stalls as well. And there is a Children's child minding and play area. This has become more popular every fest time. Next door to the festival there is a place set aside for campers it has a general store, toilets, showers and shuttle buses.

Because the shuttle buses are fairly frequent it is easy to get to the fest. There is also free parking and this something plenty of people take advantage of at this time. If you have only ever heard about how fabulous this event is in the past then a real experience of it can only add to your knowledge of it.
