So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Improve Your Employees Productivity With Customized Corporate Gifts

By Sachin K Airan

Most managers' tussle with one task on an everyday basis: how to increase the effectiveness of their employees? This is because employees who work harder increase the sales potential and earning potential of the company. When these elements are combined, most managers are ready to try just about anything to motivate their staff to work harder and remain dedicated to their jobs. One straightforward way to try this may be in front of you, get a few customized corporate gifts for your employees.

Depending on your company's budget these gifts can range from large items such as clothing to small items such as mugs or water bottles. Of course, depending on the type of company, you can choose a gift that relates somehow to your company, project, award, or just something personal for your employees. There are literally tens of thousands of products that can readily be customized. The costs can range from pennies to hundreds of dollars depending on your projected goal.

The true charm of customized corporate gifts is that they show your staff that you place a value on their work and their contributions by making the effort to give them these customized gifts. It'll also make employees feel significant and valued on an awfully private basis. Adding on a symbol, message or name to the customized present makes a worker feel as if they stand out and makes them ready to go the extra mile for the company since the company was willing to go the extra mile for them!

Many studies have been completed in the field of management that show straightforward signs of appreciation such as gifts can turbo-charge the confidence of an employee by over 50 percent. This is because even though folk become adults in the business world, they continue to grow up in a world where education was frequently fortified with positive rewards. Therefore, as adults they are still trying to find positive recognition even though they would never consciously be privy to the fact. By feeding your people private need for recognition you'll gain a stronger workforce that feels like they are part of a team.

When a worker starts to think like a team member he will wish to participate more in the firms' goals. This is significant because their jobs will instead feel like a credit in which this easy present or perk will also benefit the manager or boss. Keeping this to mind, it could be a fun time to consider what kind of gifts your employees would enjoy to receives that you can immediately start to boost the productivity of your team.

Dynamics of Speed Reading: Day One

By Dr. Jay Polmar

Be Dynamic Through Speed Reading method, by Dr. Jay Polmar, is designed for those who read large volumes of printed material. Sometimes they get frustrated when they can't keep up with all the intriguing literature that is released. Authors around the world produce printed data and fiction, at a rate so phenomenal, that even the most avid of readers struggle to keep up. With our DYNAMIC SPEED READING method, you'll easily be able to read twice to three times the amount you now read in the same time.

The human brain/mind is capable of comprehending and cataloging from 10,000 to 50,000 units of information per minute (one unit being equal to one word) and this is based upon old statistics. Based on new technology in education and strides in self-development, your brain/mind is capable of much more.

The human body is a vehicle that records various senses and transfers them to our brain/mind. The brain/mind acts like a computer. Perhaps the brain/mind is the body's operational computer to make easier for us to learn. We learn through information (data) that is transmitted in many ways. We receive data through our five physical senses, and our brain/mind makes decisions, choices and judgments from those factors.

The limitations in reading were programmed during childhood when we were first taught to read. Yet, brain/mind researchers have shown that through DYNAMIC SPEED READING techniques, thousands have broken that pattern and increased speeds dramatically.

This course teaches techniques for becoming Dynamic. We expect you, minimally, to become a speed reader who likes to read and improve the quality of your life. Maximally, we expect great, positive successes from our students. A beginning average reading speed for the average American high school graduate is about 250 words per minute. Those from the south read somewhat slower because of their drawl. Those who stutter also read slower. An average college student reads approximately 300 w.p.m.

Please take note: Recent studies have indicated that the English reading rate has dropped due to poor education in the past decade. The reduction of reading speed is astounding averaging 35% poor reading rates in the US. Be Dynamic undoes the damage made by the poor education system and was developed by Dr. Jay Polmar, who studied in the US when education mean something special and reading was king.
