Requires 4 batteries, not three like it says for the bronze version of it right here. I returned this merchandise twice as each time I put in the batteries, the very first time, one became hot to touch so when using it, it had melted on one side. When putting in the mounting plate, make sure to have 2-3 inches of space over the top of rim of the plate to be able to slide the light in position. When the tests fail, all that will remain are two little screw holes and the loss of thirty bucks. Plus, you are able to re-swivel it anytime to refocus more light in a single area (the rear of the top shelf) if you want to.
I could tell with 6 LEDS it had been likely to be fairly bright. This evening after sunset I went to check the light and it worked like a charm! I'm going to be purchasing a few more personally for the lawn and placement near the circuit main panel in the cellar.
I actually do have a Dorcy, it provides much more brightness than Fulcrum and a better quality item. If this actually works gives great light for the purpose. One light is inadequate for this level of lighting You know what the daylight function is?
Like the item very much for giving me wireless lights in a place that would never had light without a huge electrician bill. Haven't had any issues with it filling with water which is not under an eave. Bright enough to find your keys or security when you are coming or going. What a pain.
Perhaps there's only so much a battery powered light can shine, and this particular one is much better than others that run on batteries. I have the light inside a hallway and it lights up the hallway just fine. The sunshine is a glaring bright cone, even though not pleasant for very long intervals, it does the necessary job, allowing me to prevent fumbling at night time for my keys. I had been concerned about the batteries lasting and about the weatherproof in this porch lighting unit.
The title says everything, it really works great. Do not expect it to work as a "security" light, horrible. The unit design would work for many scenarios. I nearly threw in the towel looking until I thought of trying Amazon for the merchandise.
I personally use one in the bathroom to turn on the light and we have a dark entry and stair well with hands full of bags it is good to have a light. Set up anywhere in thirty seconds! Motion sensors work perfectly. Spiders make large webs to trap the bugs. It does not, so it goes on during daylight (or having lights on).

About the Author:
I would recommend placing your BQ lighting under your roof eaves to ensure that they're out of direct rain. I am using it inside so I cannot say how well it really works when subjected to the weather. porch lighting. Only issue is, the porch lanterns stopped working after less than 8 weeks. The solar lamp post is fragile and will die if you drop them even once. PORCH LIGHTING.
