So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Makers Of Supercars Not Hurting Due To Gas Price Hike

By Cornelius Nunev

Supercar manufacturing firms have not really gotten the memo concerning gas prices, even if most people are feeling the squeeze. High performance green cars are becoming more accessible, but traditional high-end sports vehicles are still being made without considering gas prices. The supercar market is a little more insular than the regular vehicle industry. An individual who can afford a Ferrari can spend a few extra dollars on gas.

McLaren looks to take on Bugatti

AutoWeek states the sports automobile company McLaren is working on a car that will come out in 2014. The MP4-12C was released by the company known for releasing the fastest road car in the world, the F1. Now, McLaren has a new project. The car will get about 800 horsepower with its 5-liter engine. In 2.8 seconds, the car should be able to go from 0 to 60 while being able to go from 0 to 200 miles per hour faster than the Bugatti Veyron with a price tag of $500,000.

GM is a great place to look for work now

To be able to get a new Corvette, General Motors is putting $131 million into getting a better version of Chevrolet's sports vehicle adding about 250 new jobs, reports CNN. The new Corvette probably will not be ready for release for a few years, but the new positions will open soon at the GM plant in Bowling Green, Ky., where the Corvette has been produced since 1981. Information on the vehicle isn't accessible yet. There still is not a release date either. Chevrolet is rolling out a new Camaro for 2012, according to Popular Mechanics, called the ZL1 Camaro. The same 6.2L V-8 in the Cadillac CTS-V with over 550 horsepower will be put in the ZL1.

Lean, mean and green

Performance car makers are concerned about the environment a little bit, although the vehicles that come from these automakers don't generally concern themselves with the environment. Hybrid automobile engineers are being interviewed by McLaren. It hopes to create more "green" automobiles. Porsche, according to USA Today, is currently taking orders for the 918 Spyder, a plug-in hybrid supercar that will go from 0 to 60 in 3.1 seconds, tops out at 199 miles an hour and will drive three more miles on electric power alone than the upcoming plug-in Prius hybrid will. The car also has good mileage. Its mileage is 78 miles per gallon typically. According to the Daily Mail, Ferrari released in 2010 a hybrid version of the 599. It hopes to, by 2015, have hybrid versions of all of its cars. The hybrid 599, the 599 HY-KERS, will do 200 miles an hour and get up to 25 miles per hour, though it still has a V-12vehicle can get 200 miles per hour and up to 25 miles per hour. Popular Science reports that in 2009, Lamborghini announced it wanted to have a hybrid by 2015. It seems even the worst automobiles are going green. Every person wants to save the environment.

Fitting 513 People Into A Semi-Truck In Mexico

By Cornelius Nunev

Two semi-trucks were found carrying a load of 513 illegal immigrants through Mexico to the U.S.. The human cargo was found to be huddled together in sweltering conditions by x-ray scanners in the state of Chiapas in southern Mexico.

Human smugglers near Guatemalan border when they were stumbled across

In Chiapas, which is near the Guatemalan border, Mexican cops found a human smuggling operation. MSNBC states that there were two semi-trucks stumbled across, with X-ray equipment, with hundreds of individuals crammed in them while driving through checkpoints near Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas. The 513 individuals found in the two trucks were dehydrated and hungry. They had cargo ropes hanging for the people to hang onto to keep themselves upright during the drive.

Immigrants not all from the same place

There was surely a variety of people in the truck. There were many individuals from different countries involved. Most of the individuals were from Guatemala; however, some were not. There were 6 from Nepal, one from japan, 1 from china, 12 from India, 47 from El Salvador and 32 that had come from Ecuador. Much of the people were men. There were 4 children and 32 women though. The Mexican cops are responsible for the humans being transferred while four smugglers tried to escape and were arrested, CNN states. Air holes were only available on the top of the trailers, according to the Chiapas attorney. Smugglers wanted $7,000 per person smuggled. The individuals would be put in different trucks so they could go to the U.S. after being re-routed in Puebla. There were 219 migrants stumbled across in the same region in a truck. This was in Jan.

Immigrants come to United States through Mexico

To be able to the get the U.S., several illegal immigrants will go to Mexico. BBC reports that Mexican authorities thought this was one of the biggest finds. Most illegal immigrants pay a fee to get across the United States edge with help from human smugglers, coyotes or coyotaje. It is a hard way in for migrants. They could be abused or hurt without any way to look after it. In August of last year, according to the Christian Science Monitor, 72 migrants were slaughtered by the Zetas narcotic cartel and more than 10,000 were kidnapped by gangs between April and Sept last year as well.

By Jason McDonald

If you want to talk about high-tech devices, in this day, you're probably going to want to talk about smartphones. It's easy to see why, since they are amongst the most popular gadgets in the world, regardless of how much technical expertise one may have. Even still, there are many people who may be on the fence about investing in such a product. For those who may be looking to get involved, in this respect, consider these 3 perks, including iPhone 6 battery cases.

If there's one thing that can be said about smartphones, in general, it's that they make communication so much easier. This goes far beyond the act of calling others, though, which is still an essential trait. Let's say that you are an avid social media user, as you spend time on multiple websites, ranging from Facebook to Tumblr. What you should know is that, if this is of interest to you, these phones can make extensive engagement that much easier.

Apps come together as another selling point for the investment in smartphones. Even though some of them may be related to social media usage, there are even more of them which focus on entertainment; this is where the idea of gaming can come into effect. Even though some of these games may be simpler than others, they are useful for the sake of killing time and staying entertained. Without question, this is another selling point for potential owners to consider.

There's also an extensive level of compatibility with other items. All you have to do is look at iPhone 6 battery cases, which are not only tremendous for charging phones but keeping them protected as well. Given the investment associated with such devices, it's easy to see why you would want to keep them safe from harm. Iphone 6 Charging Cases & 4 Ways To Prevent Broken Screens

By Arthur Williams

When you drop your smartphone, the last thing that you want to see is a cracked screen. Not only does this make things more difficult to see, especially if you are a fan of text messaging and social media activity, but the level of functionality is unlikely to be top-notch again. With that said, I think that it's vital to talk about some of the finest protective measures. Smartphone users would be wise to consider these 4 ways to stay protected, with iPhone 6 charging cases included.

For those who are curious to know what iPhone 6 charging cases are, here are a few details. They are designed to plug into outlets, in order to charge the battery of the device placed within the case. Of course, it would be unwise to go over the protective capabilities, as they can keep damage from drops and the like to a minimum. For those who are curious to learn more, you would be wise to consult reputable companies such as Prong.

For those who are looking for alternative methods, there are quite a few to consider. You should know where your phone is at all times, which is understandable if you're someone who travels a lot. When you leave your device somewhere, especially on a nightstand or desk, you may accidentally knock it over, which can create an unexpected crack if protection is not set in place. For this reason, it'll be in your best interest to always have your phone near you.

Screen protectors can prove to be quite useful as well. Not only are these items available in virtually any electronics retailer, but many of them can be applied with ease. If you take care with these items, and follow the directions that many of them come with, you will not have to worry about bubbles appearing from underneath. Not only will screen protectors minimize the risk of said bubbles, but everything from cracks to dirt specks will be less likely to hinder your device.

Finally, you should look into insurance, which can be gained in a number of ways. AppleCare, for instance, is a service that you can purchase that goes alongside your device. It's good for two smartphones at $100 - $50 for each replacement - and it's a worthwhile one when you consider the financial details. A typical smartphone can cost a couple hundred dollars, after all. Wouldn't it make sense, then, to be covered by this particular method?
