So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Maine and Its Sea Food

By Qandishah Brown

Being in Maine or the state name alone will surely bring thoughts of seafood to your mind. This is especially because this is one of the state specialties. They are able to produce some of the best seafood around including lobsters, clams, mussels etc. The quality of their seafood is so great that they export these to other states and even other countries.

One of the most popular sea foods in Maine is lobster. About ninety percent of all the lobster that is supplied in United States is caught in Maine. In fact they are so popular that there is a festival just for these crustaceans. However, that type of thing isn't all that rare in Maine. You will discover that there is also a clam festival, a chowder cook off and who knows what else.

With all the seafood around, it may be a bit overwhelming. This is why other fairs and festivals are a welcome change. This will include the craft fairs and festivals that happen throughout the year. Though there may still be some seafood related things you will also be sure to find a lot of homemade goods. It can be a good way to see a different side of Maine.

Living in Maine or being nearby will give you a great chance to participate in craft shows and festivals that are held in Maine. You don't have to limit yourself to watching or shopping, you can be one of the vendors as well. This is especially true if you love to craft. You will be able to make money out of something that you love doing.

Joining a craft show or festival in Maine is not really difficult. It's all a matter of knowing when the next event is and signing up for it ahead of time. You can always get the details that you need from local organizers or through an online calendar of events.
