So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Reveal Your Talent in Craft Fairs

By Geoffrey Higgins

Every single person in the world has a talent; some people are wizards in the kitchen, some people have a knack for painting and making beautiful pictures. But unfortunately, a lot of people lose their skills bit by bit due to the everyday monotony of life. Responsibility becomes a stumbling block for these talents, which are lost over time.

Try not to let this happen to you. A person's talent makes him unique. Even between two sculptors, one work is very different from the other; a fact that cannot be neglected. Go out and think back to your roots. What did you enjoy doing when you were a child? You shouldn't forget it, just because you need to "grow up" and be "boring".

Try to upgrade your skills. A few minutes each day to practice will let you get better at it. And never be ashamed of what you can enjoy doing. A talent is special; it's something worth sharing with your friends and family.

When you feel you're ready, think about showcasing your skills at a craft show. Doing so is simple; find the nearest one that's scheduled to occur online on websites. When you've found one, contact the event organizers and register a booth. It's a good way to share your talents with the world, whilst earning a little extra from it as well.

Things will start out slow, as most secondary businesses do; but earning is not the first priority. Look for the joy that you can obtain by seeing people appreciate that which makes you more than just another face in the crowd.

So what are you waiting for? Get rid of the monotony that threatens to overwhelm our race! Let your voice be heard, and go register to a craft fair near you. Be proud of your talent, don't let it go to waste!
