So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Maxpedition and Hiking Go Hand in Hand

By Henry McMillan

Backpacking is recommended for strong hikers whose routes include mountain climbing, bushwhacking, or rock scrambling. Wheelpacking is recommended for those whose destinations instead lay along maintained hiking trails and who want to get there with everything they need and maybe some other things they want and enough energy remaining to use and enjoy them. Backpacking is an outdoor pastime which is popular in many parts of the world. Backpacking involves hiking to a camping location while carrying a pack which contains food and gear for the hikers. Backpacking is a throwback to the old days where reading and conversation are your only source of entertainment. This is what backpacking is all about and in my opinion this is what makes it infinitely more enjoyable than car camping.

Outdoor adventure experts highly suggest the principle of reducing the accumulated weight of your backpack by simply choosing the right equipment like Maxpedition backpacking tents which carry minimal weight but still function to the best of its intended purpose. But more often than not, cutting through the weight of the backpack in general neglects other important concerns in the activity " the bugs in the forest.

Backpacking is about uncertain things, not knowing what is going to happen and living for the moment. Backpacking is a way to revert to our simple, primordial existence--if only for days or weeks. The Maxedition philosophy draws on the innate abilities of our bodies, instead of inhibiting them with unnecessary equipment. Backpacking is a recreational activity, but it is not without risk. Planning for backpacking trip takes place long before you hit the trail.

To wrap it up, grab your Maxpedition Bags and hit the trail. Shred that weight, get in shape and have fun.
