So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Round Area Rugs: Fun Decorations

By Joan Starks

A round-shaped area rug can catch anyone's attention faster than Brad Pitt can. Okay! Okay! I'm exaggerating. The thing is, round is always meant to be in the center, a centerpiece, a focal point. Have you noticed how off it looks when something round is positioned at the sides? Round is meant to be the center of attention, but convey it through an attractive object like an area rug, makes it a superstar. Somewhat like Brad Pitt.

The good thing about round area rugs is that they are quite uncommon. Most of what you see are rectangular in shape. Round on the other hand, is something new and fresh to the eyes. It's trendy and hip.

Round area rugs will make a bold statement and should not be placed in an area with lots of furniture. These look best in an uncrowded spot.

So where to put a ball-like area rug? One good place is the bathroom. There are actually special round rugs meant for bathroom use. It will definitely upgrade your bathroom's status to the next level. Goodbye kitchen!

These area rugs also come in many nice designs. Animal prints and floral designs are real eye-catchers. Those with geometric patterns or abstract look are also a good catch. Trust your instinct and go with your preference. Decorations are works of art too. They can be expressions of your personality. If you feel animal prints symbolize the wild girl in you, then go ahead and decorate your room with it.

Living rooms can also be graced by the presence of a cute round area rug. Save your best rug for this place because obviously, the living room is where we receive guests, so you might as well make a good impression, right?

The color of your round rug should complement the colors in your room. Consider designs that will add interest to your room. Animal prints and floral prints will draw attention to the area immediately. Make sure you have thought about the size; a rug that is too large will overpower a room and its element of surprise will have been lost.

Round area rugs as previously mentioned, are suitable for all kinds of rooms. I think though that because of its look, especially if you have a bright, well-designed rug, it should be placed in a visible or conspicuous area. With its beauty, it's meant to be displayed for all to see. The living room is a real winner.

I'm sure that you will have a blast shopping for the perfect round area rug. The shape itself looks so pleasant that I don't think stress will be in your company. Enhance your home or your room with this piece of impressive decoration. The round shape will do the talking.
