So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Take A Walk On The Wild Side With Safari Chic Decor

By Abigail Wattz

After a while of having the same decor, it may begin to lose its appeal. Maybe you feel it's too tame and it no longer represents who you really are inside. If you're looking for a way to make your home more adaptable to your inner wild child, you might want to consider the Safari Chic designs.

Safari Chic is an exotic kind of home design. It brings to mind the African wilds and the bountiful nature. Animal prints are the predominant design with earth tones as the main colors. Usual materials for this theme are cotton, linen, rattan, canvas, cast metal, leather and woods.

You can easily incorporate the richness of texture in your drapes or curtains, while also showcasing the exotic appearance of animal patterns. An animal motif is a great way to put an exclamation mark! to your Safari Chic decors

Painted artwork on the walls will make a strong impact in delivering your new design across. Jungle themes are of course the way to go. There are just so many animals to choose from, as well as the depictions of nature and the outdoors.

Don't forget to add an area rug to enhance the look of your room. You could go for the traditional zebra print rug. Or take it up a notch by opting for a sisal rug that's always a delight to step on.

To complete the decorating, add some animal wooden carvings or miniatures. Don't forget your chair cushions and throw pillow covers. You can have animal prints, earth colors or animal-themed fabrics. Place a few potted or hanging plants to give the room a more natural ambiance.

If you have a vacation house or perhaps a room where you often relax, Safari Chic is an ideal design. It gives the space a more relaxing and fun feel, perfect for that vacation mode you're in.

Purchasing the decors needed for a Safari Chic design can be easily made online. There are also thrift stores to go to if you wish to save more on expenses. It's not a hard design to live by. There's just so much to be inspired from by merely looking out your window and savoring the outdoors. Watching National Geographic, Animal Planet or the Discovery Channel will also give you numerous hints on how to go about coloring and decorating your room with a Safari adventure in mind.
