So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Comparing Moissanite And Diamond Rings

By Nicole Swanson

There's not a single person out there who would turn down truly amazing and beautiful jewelry were it free. Unfortunately, everything has its price, and this causes many people to look into unconventional areas to find good value.

Diamond rings have long been considered the ultimate standard in fashionable rings. This is especially true for certain occasions like engagements or anniversaries. Is there any merit in looking into a diamond alternative?

In terms of gemstones, diamonds tend to have two main competitors - cubic zirconia and moissanite. CZ rings are somewhat gaudy, though, and rarely can compete with the fire and brilliance of a true natural diamond ring.

Moissanite, on the other hand, provides a great solution to budgetary concerns without yielding anything in terms of beauty. In fact, many people even think that moissanite rings look better than diamond ones due to the increased brilliance.

The main negative of moissanite is that it's always a synthetic stone, no matter how large or small. This means that no moissanite ring can claim the natural beauty and grace that diamond rings can. If synthetic gems are a deal breaker, don't consider moissanite.

Moissanite rings have many fans amongst gemologists who have studied them. They apparently exhibit higher luster, fire, and brilliance compared to diamonds. This means that they'll look as good if not better at first glance.

The other positive to moissanite rings is that they're far less expensive than diamond ones. This means that you'd be able to afford a larger stone, a better cut, or more accenting gemstones. Diamond are great, but they are considerably expensive.

Moissanite rings offer a whole lot of value, with the downside that they are synthetic pieces. Diamond rings can claim ultimate fame, reputation, and glory. Both are amazingly beautiful elegant, and you can't go wrong no matter which one you choose.
