So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Modern Office Space Planning Solutions - Some Tips

By Raechelle Morgan

In today's dynamic business environment the needs of a company change very rapidly. New corporate systems emerge to expel the older systems, outdating even the existing office plan. Therefore, it is very important to keep the design of the office and its office system furniture in accordance with the current trends for streamlined working of the company. Here are a few guidelines that will assist you in planning your office space more efficiently.

Good office planning must start with discarding items that cause clutter in the office without being used for any purpose. Office system furniture normally includes huge file cabinets flooding with company directories and archives of a by-gone era. This is an era of electronic communication and electronic data storage in offices which now use computers for storing and processing data. New technology is both a space saving and a cost saving alternative, and it also makes work streamlined and more efficient.

Smart use of the space created by removal of redundant furniture can change the office layout significantly. Free areas can be converted to meeting spots for the staff, who can use the space for official or unofficial interaction. They can also be considered as a chance for rearranging the design of the office and for making available spacious seating to the staff by increasing the distance between their office desks.

Wires and cables hanging around present a sorry sight, and those lying on the floor can cause injuries to the employees who might accidentally fall over them or even get an electric shock. Therefore office desks must have empty spaces to have these wires carefully bundled in. Plug points must be near the employees' desks and must be properly fixed so that they don't protrude out from the walls and spoil the look of the wall.

Conference rooms used by internal teams and clients must also be given due consideration. Ample space should be allocated for them so that they are adequate in number and have the required amount of seating capacity. These halls should have office chairs that are not too heavy and can be conveniently shifted around in a flexible layout so that groups of different sizes can easily fit in.

Office space planning may require some expert help, as an expert can provide some extremely valuable recommendations for your particular needs. They can create a 3D layout of your new office plan on the computer, highlighting the arrangement of office desks and office chairs, so that you can judge if their design suits your requirement. Professionals with their state of the art technology can plan a modern and nicely furnished office space for you that will be in accordance with the organization environment that you would like having in your office.
