So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

The Right Way To Ride A Motorcycle

By Amanda Gamdana

Motorcycle riding is a breezy experience. It is mandatory that you know exactly how your machine functions. While there are many quick learners of the process, some struggle hard to grasp the information. In the final analysis, it depends on how much you believe in yourself and want to learn the relevant skills.

Keep in mind that the motorcycle you learn on is going to affect how well you are able to learn to operate it so make sure it is designed to fit you. Most people learn to ride a motorcycle using some one else's bike, so this could create some problems for you. However, you have to make sure that you do not get yourself a heavyweight bike and that the height is such that both your feet can touch the ground. It is critical that you are able to reach the gas, handle bars and brakes without making any extra effort and it could make better investment sense if you go for a cheap second hand bike which suits your body perfectly. When you are comfortable with riding the bike, reach out for a superior model.

Learn riding from someone who is trustworthy and has perseverance. If you are unable to get hold of a good trainer for your riding lessons, then you are simply wasting a lot of time. It may be a worthwhile investment to enroll in an instruction course and learn from someone who is trained to teach this skill.

One you have mastered the basics, keep on practicing, just like driving any other vehicle. While you are in your learning phase do not attempt to ride on busy streets and highways till such times that you are very sure of your riding skills. You need to practice the skill of changing lanes, application of sudden brakes, managing turns and twists safely as these are normal situations on the road.

To master the art of riding perfectly, you need to experience riding through a variety of weathers, as these practical lessons are not taught in any school. You would be completely taken aback by the different ways your bike functions on different weather conditions. Being prepared for a variety of riding conditions is going to make you a much better operator. With time you know to manage your bike better and would feel like going out for long rides or perhaps even get in to those popular annual rallies.

If you start small and practice hard, learning to operate a motorcycle will be a very rewarding experience for you. Most starters wish to procure a new bike or something which is as mighty as the ones owned by their friends. These bikes are usually too heavy for handling and most of them end up with grievous injuries while trying to ride them. A possible outcome of this could be that you get irritated with the process of learning and decide to get rid of the bike.

Make your learning experience a rewarding and pleasant one by not rushing through your lessons all to ride through the super highways. Keep on practicing the skills and keep on learning from your mistakes. Remember there is nothing quite as challenging as riding a motorcycle provided you have practiced enough to become a master rider who never forgets the safety rules.
