So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

How To Pick The Best Earrings For You

By Aaron McLain

Earrings are fashion, the craze, the next big fad. The will never lose their style, their furor, the way they can make even the simplest outfit rage. If you have ever wondered what styles are popular, or even what styles exist, or how to find a pair that not only look good, but are comfortable, read on.

The craftsmen behind earrings take several things into consideration. Comfort being right up there with craftsmanship and style. Not only must your earrings look extravagant, capture attention, and make you look and feel beautiful, they must also be comfortable. They must not damage your ear or cause inflammation. This insures the earring will be worn and not left to rot in your jewelry box.

When shopping for earrings weight is the first thing to consider. Feel the weight of the earrings. Place them in your hand. Do they feel heavy? Do you have a similar pair of the same weight? Remember how those pair felt.

If you must try on the earrings, especially if there pierced earrings, wipe them down with a disinfectant wipe before trying them on. Now let them sit on your ears for a few minutes so you can become accustomed to them. Shake your head. How do they feel? If you experience any discomfort its probably a good idea to put them back.

Once they pass the comfort test, look at their craftsmanship. Do they have parts that might wear or break? Do they look solid in their shape? Do they have their own pizazz and flare? Will they match any of your clothes?

One thing you will notice is earrings fall into several popular groups. New styles and shapes are usually born from these basic categories. There is the chandelier style of earring that has two or more branches that hang low. Then there is the drop style earring with its single branch. Finally, there is the loop style earring. A classic. It comes in different diameter ovals and loops.
