So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Limousine Styles - Selecting a Modern, Unique or Antique Model for Your Special Event

By Stephen Daniels

You are likely considering hiring a limo service if you have an event like a wedding, prom or a special night on the town coming up. You'll enjoy riding around the town in style and feeling like a celebrity. But are you aware of the wide variety of models that are available? Many limousine services offer several less common vehicles that will lend your event that special flair. Ranging from the ultra modern to the vintage antique with many different stops in between, there's a perfect limo out there for you that will turn heads everywhere you go.

The classic stretch limo, a modified luxury sedan, is perhaps the most popular option. These cars usually have room for six passengers, while super stretch versions offer more space. While Lincoln Town Car models are quite prevalent, Chrysler 300M versions offer another elegant and readily available choice. Practically any luxury sedan you can think of has been stretched, including Infiniti, Mercedes, BMW, Bentley and many more.

For something with a little more passenger space and room to stretch out, SUV limousines are an excellent option. Many people prefer the SUV look to make the statement that they desire. Some of the models you might find include the distinctive Hummer H2, elegant Lincoln Navigator or bling-worthy Cadillac Escalade models.

Fast car aficionados might enjoy touring the town in a Corvette limousine. Combining the sports car feel with the luxury of a limo could make you the envy of everyone in town. Limo versions of other sports cars, like Prowlers and Dodge Chargers, are also out there. If money is no object, and you have time to look around, you might opt for a more exotic Porsche or Ferrari that has been modified to seat several people in style.

For a truly unique, vintage feel, you might opt for an antique limousine model. Some specialty companies offer carefully maintained, well preserved classic cars such as Rolls Royce, Bentley, Packard, Excalibur and others that date from the 1920s through the 60s. You may find classic cars that have been recently modified as well, creating limos with vintage style yet luxurious, modern interiors.

Are you looking for something even larger than an SUV? While you could always hire more than one limo, it might be even better to get a limo bus! These luxurious parties on wheels are not like a traditional motor coach at all. Many can carry up to 40 or 50 people and typically offer all of the features of an exclusive nightclub. They often have full standup bars, luxurious lounge seats or couches and plush carpet, and some even offer room to dance.

The custom features you can find in modern limousines are far more elaborate than comfy seating and a mini bar. Plasma televisions and state-of-the-art sound systems are increasingly becoming the norm rather than the exception. Many limousine services offer customized options, fully stocked bars, gaming systems, and special features like fancy lighting and glass roofs for viewing the night sky. Some even have fireplaces, hot tubs or small swimming pools for your pleasure.

As you choose the limo service to provide transportation for your special event, be sure to consider all of the options. You'll be sure to find the perfect vehicle to suit your needs and style.
