So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Buying A Used Car

By Jack Wogan

As a definition, a second-hand car is one that has previously had one or even more owners. They can be found at car dealerships, leasing offices, even auctions, and are considered to be one of the highest selling products in the U.S.

If you want to buy a second-hand car, you ought to know that this is generally a good choice and one that is extremely popular, particularly in the U.S. However, there are some things you might want to keep in mind when making the purchase.

After making the decisions concerning the type, brand and dealer you like, you should be concentrating on the details of the purchase. First of all, you ought to be prepared to haggle with the salesman. Remember that these people are trained to sell you things you don't want or even need, so they can be pretty convincing. Plus, a lot of times, they are authorized to offer bonuses, such as insurance or anti-theft devices. However, it's very important for you to be strong on your feet and not let them talk you into anything you don't care for.

Another thing you ought to know is that used cars can have a series of hidden problems that most likely no one will tell you about. This is where the test drive comes in: it will allow you to evaluate the state of the car and the engine on your own, taking into consideration all the things that are important to you.

Finally, don't forget that haggling is always an option and a very good one as well. Be patient and make use of all your negotiating tools (even walking out of the dealership in the hopes that it will convince the salesman to offer you a better deal). Nevertheless, don't try to obtain a good car for a close-to-nothing price, as that is not likely to ever happen, no matter how good your skills are.
