So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Top Tips For Those Who Want To Take Their Pets On A Plane

By Musa Aykac

If you are intending to take your pet on a plane with you, then you may have some questions as to the way the whole process works. The good news is that while it can involve a bit of preparatory work there is no reason why flying with a pet needs to be unduly stressful. So if you are intending to fly with your pet, the tips below should help.

- Advance planning is essential when it comes to taking a pet on a flight. There may be a lot of work involved depending on where you are flying because there are some destinations where a pet passport is not recognised or maybe you don't have a pet passport. You will probably have more planning to do if you have never travelled with your pet before.

- The pet policy of the airline you want to fly with will have to be investigated by you. It is essential that you are aware of the rules and regulations that apply to the airline you are using as they all have different ones.

- It is considered animal cruelty to take a pet under the age of two months on a plane and it is not allowed. A pet must be fully weaned before you can take it on a flight with you.

- It is best if you can choose a direct flight to your destination than your pet needing to be transferred between different flights.

- It is important that a dog gets enough exercise before a flight especially if you are taking a long haul flight.

- When it comes to travelling on a plane with pets, there are a number of risk factors. The best way to avoid these risks is to find out what they are. Most pets arrive at the destination without any problems whatsoever.
