So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

What Are The Risks Of Not Taking Advantage Of Mezzanine Floors

By Jamaal Mcdowell Dale

Efficiency is today a must for success in the world of business. You and your business must be ready to make maximum use of resources if you hope to remain competitive. Around the world, organizations are having multiple roles within them. Twenty four hour operations as well as diversification are widely being adopted by many businesses. All this is in an effort to maximize output while minimizing costs.

Being a precious resource means that office space must be efficiently utilized. There must be productive use of every single inch of office space you pay rent for. Mezzanine flooring has for this reason been embraced so as to have previously open and unused spaces being put into productive use. The mezzanine floor that is put up can be used for any number of purposes. It could be for storage, increased operations capacity, server rooms, security surveillance and monitoring, meeting rooms, show rooms and much more. Businesses that refuse to modernize cannot survive with wasted resources and high costs.

Letting out more office space is the alternative to having a mezzanine floor. The options here include getting more space in the building currently housing the business or at a secondary location. The result will be an increase in rent regardless of the option chosen. Transport is an extra cost that will come into play when the option taken is to have a secondary location. When compared to the one off cost of putting up a mezzanine floor, it is clearly not the best route to take.

Businesses may outgrow their offices but that will not always mean that they can afford higher rent for the extra space they need. In this case a mezzanine floor would be a perfect solution. Not taking this option will either restrict the growth of the business or cripple its operations due to high costs. Mezzanine floors can be a great way to grow your office capacity as the business grows without increasing the operating costs of your business. Making good use of office space is one of the ways through which you can impress financiers or investors who are assessing your business. Do not expect the bank to give you money for more office space when the one you already have is underutilized.

Moving your business from one location to another can be an expensive affair. Business operations are bound to be affected by a good number of adjustments and inconveniences that will arise from moving to a new site. Some of your current clients may not appreciate your new location which means you might loose them as a result of moving to the new site. Mezzanine flooring is a logical consideration that should be looked at before moving due to need for increased office space. Fifteen to twenty months is the average period within which most businesses are able to recoup their investment in a mezzanine floor. You business could suffer irreparable damage if you decide to move and the new site does not work out as great as the initial location.
