So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Give Guests A Welcome With Your Personalized Door Mat

By Raquel Walker

Let everyone who comes to your door know a little bit about you with a personalized door mat. Your design options are numerous, including several lines of text, brightly colored logos or just the family name. Cheer not just a front door but also a bedroom door or the entrance to a pet room.

Guests will wipe their feet on your mat, but not before noting your sense of humor or religious beliefs. Advertise a company. Share a much loved poem or quote in your chosen language printed with a digital printer.

Select a material that will resist fading and shedding. Options include wood, nylon, even mats created from partially recycled content. Certain designs come with embedded aluminum or made entirely from this material. Your selection will depend on the location where your mat will be placed: indoor or outdoor. Consumers can find all-weather varieties, or pick out colors for both the mat and embroidery.

On-line is where customers will find their range of choices. Here explore shipping costs and how long your mat will take to arrive. Research this point carefully if you want the mat to come on time as a gift for someone. On second thoughts, order a gift certificate instead. Read customer reviews on company websites too.

Certain materials hide dirt and dry quickly, such as wood with evenly placed slats. Also explore resistance to decay and smell. Your personalized product should offer slip resistance for heightened safety. Purchase rubber-backed with the assurance of curl and crack resistance. Height depends on material, so look for a mat that will not trip up you or visitors. Carpeted mats need not succumb to fading in the sun. Explore your options for an easy-clean, no-fade product.

Aluminum mats resist rust and look classy. Consumer selections even include fancy French bronze or pewter silver. Pick from a complicated filigree, elaborate leaf patterns, even pineapples.

Designs for a personalized door mat range from simple to stylish. Opt for borders or without. Go for a large size or small, rectangular, square or round. Even find a semi-circle. Decorative touches might include fancy framing with curly lines or multi-colored pictures.
