So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Go Go Boots - Styles To Go With Every Outfit

By Janet Alexia

Looking to drum things up the next time you go out? Do you want something other than ordinary boots in your wardrobe? Go-go boots are what you need. Gogo boots became very popular back in the 60s, and they have endured changes in tastes and styles over the years. While they're a classic element of the go-go dancer Halloween costume and seem to always come in loud, shiny colors, they can also come in more "ordinary" colors, textures, and styles. What this means is that you can work them into any wardrobe.

Go-go boots are normally associated with club wear. They have a certain style to them that just screams disco balls and lighted dance floors. They're still around today, and the style has bubbled around cult status for many years. Go-go boots commonly have lower heel heights than platform heels (generally around 4 inches or less), and the heel itself is chunkier, so the chances of falling flat on one's face after a breaking a heel are thankfully reduced. Depending on the style, you can go for a classic go-go look, fur-tipped ones for a stylish appearance, or shimmery sequins when you really want to be noticed.

The metallic-colored boots look like something out of a science fiction movie. The sparkly accents on the sides of them make the look like "moon boots." They also serve as the perfect complement to a Goth-style outfit. There is even a "super hero" boot for those times when you want to play dress-up and put on a costume.

In fact, there are so many designs of go-go boots that you may want more than one pair. It goes without saying that these boots look great; however, these aren't the kind of boots for winter walking. While no one will ever mistake them for having great traction in the snow, they're fashionable boots nonetheless.

The length of gogo boots makes them the ultimate pairing to short skirts and dresses. Since they go higher up the leg than most ordinary boots, they make your legs appear longer. It gives you a more sexy appearance that will turn heads and get the tongues wagging. These are the kind of boots that can go with any outfit, so you must add a couple pairs of go-go boots to your collection.
