So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Finding Cheap Holidays To Bulgaria

By Wayne Bromiley

If you are trying to find cheap holidays to Bulgaria you might want to start off my doing some Internet research on the many online travel agencies that offer many different types of flight packages to a vast amount of countries at discounted prices. If you do not mind taking flights at times you might not normally considering taking or if you do not mind going a different class than you are use to, you might find these sites very helpful.

After you get to Bulgaria you will want to explore the country and hopefully keep your cheap holidays to Bulgaria in tact. There a lot of things that you can do to enjoy the country without going off your budget.

If you like walking or cycling you should be able to find plenty of places that offer guided and self guided tours. These tours can be designed for each individuals abilities, skills and desires. All kinds of groups are welcome and age is not an issue, even private tours can be arranged.

One of these types of day trips start with breakfast and then off for a cycling or hiking tour. Lunch is usually a picnic or at small, quaint local restaurants. Some of the trips will even offer dips in swimming pools or rivers. There is sightseeing of various monasteries, churches, museums and walks through small villages and towns in the area. After there is time to enjoy the local foods of the area. If it is more than a day trip family run hotels and guesthouses will be used as accommodations. These types of hiking trips begin at 440 euros and the cycling tours begin at 600 euros per person.

You can also arrange for Special Interest Tours. These are a way of seeing Bulgaria according to your own personal interests. Whatever your interests might be is what they will put on the itinerary. These types of tours include your accommodations and meals can also be included in the price. Depending upon what you want to see and other factors the price will vary. These tours can start as low as 65 euros a night.

There are also a variety of different lodges and hostels to choose from that offer gardens, swimming pools, summer kitchens, barbecues, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and much more. You can share a room with up to six beds for just 10 euros per night per person or you can have a more private setting with an En suite room for two at 15 euros per night per person.

Another inexpensive way to stay in Bulgaria is to rent an apartment. These are usually located in popular cities and give the tourist easy access to shopping, sightseeing, dining, nightlife and mingling with the locals. Most apartments sleep up to four and are completely furnished and have dishes, full appliances, air conditioner, television, cable TV, DVD player and even some come with washing machines. This type of lodging can start as low as 55 euros for a night.

There are also villas that offer tourists great bed and breakfast retreats that include quality furnishings, TVs and DVD players and basic breakfast and evening meals upon request. These types of lodgings can start as low as 15 euros per person per night.

Kayaking trips are also a great way to see the different areas of Bulgaria. These can be one to four day trips and are perfect for those who love to kayak and camp. These types of trips are especially nice for larger groups or family groups. These trips include everything needed and begin at about 40 euros a night for each person in the group.

Probably one of the cheapest ways to see Bulgaria is through a local resident. There are a lot of Bulgarians that are willing to give small private tours for one to four people at a time lasting anywhere from one to 10 days. This probably the best way to see the country. Tours like these can begin as low as $10 euros per person.
