So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Places To Shop For Contacts Online

By Adriana Noton

The convenience to shop for contacts online has made it easier for those of us with busy schedules to always have a fresh supply on hand. Whether they are your everyday use lenses, those crazy costume lenses, or colored lenses for a pretty new look, websites online are selling certified lenses around the world. Be sure to take care when looking online for the health and security of one's eyes.

Contact lenses for everyday use are available in a variety of types of different uses. Most people will get the monthly disposable lenses that are put in every day and taken out every night. They will need to be cleaned thoroughly with an all purpose solution, and then stored immersed in this fluid. On the same day of each month, they will need to get replaced, as they become more susceptible to breaking down and forming holes, which can scratch the cornea.

Daily disposable lenses are becoming more and more popular as they are easy to afford. Inserted in the morning, they are disposed of later that evening, so they do not need to be stored or cleaned with an all purpose eye solution. Usually, people who only wear lenses a few times find this to be best and most affordable, however, others use them every day because they are clean and do not need to be maintained.

To order lenses on the net, it will be necessary to have a prescription number ready, as well as the phone number of the eye doctor. By law, contact lenses, prescription or not, cannot be sold without a certified prescription and contact between the doctor and the store. However, there are some stores online that will sell contact lenses illegally, especially if they are colored or costume lenses.

Cosmetic lenses in different colors are a fun fashion accessory and many of them are available under name brands from licensed websites. Many of them are opaque and are apparent even on very dark eyes. Others are just tinted, and will be partially transparent, making them only able to alter lighter colored eyes. They can be worn every day, but are often used to change up a look.

Sold with or without a prescription, costume lenses are often harder to find from a certified seller and can be very dangerous to use. When they are sold without a prescription, they might be too big for the size of the customer's eye. If they are not sized correctly, the cornea can be scratched, and it is possible to go blind or get an eye infection. Users should remove lenses if any discomfort or itching occurs.

For best results, consumers should always go to an eye doctor before doing anything to be fitted for contact lenses and have a yearly checkup. Cartons of lenses are often market with the prescription numbers on one side, and these will be needed to order new pairs on the internet. Popular name brands are the least likely to threaten eye safety.

Fast shipping makes it easy for consumers to always have a fresh pair of lenses. Many shop for contacts online for the convenience of buying designer contact lenses without a trip to the eye doctor.
