So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Popular Hatchback Cars

By Jessica Stevens

Hatchbacks first appeared on the scene around four decades ago. One early example was the Pinto. Hatchbacks were affordable and didn't offer a ton of amenities; they were pretty much bare bones models designed to get you from one place to another. And that is exactly why they didn't become a major sales sensation in the United States.

This model is more popular than ever except now they are fully equipped with all of today's modern comforts. In fact, today's hatchback includes the creature comforts that people like. Another added bonus is the generous amount of space which is perfect for storing sports equipment and gear.

One American auto company that is embracing hatchbacks is Ford; it produces the Fiesta in this model. Moreover, 41 percent of the retail sales of the Focus are hatchbacks. That is a pretty good achievement because the Focus hatchback has been available for just a few months. nissan altima riverside offers great deals on cars in the Inland Empire.

Figures released by Wards Auto indicate that more hatchbacks were sold than ever before from 2006-2010 In raw numbers that is an increase from 291,853 units to over 475,000 units; very impressive considering the fact that overall sales actually took a dip.

One sure sign that hatchbacks are no longer bare bones; even luxury companies are jumping in such as Audi; they have an A3 and A7 model. Porsche's Panamera hatchback is faring well on the open market and Aston Martin has its new Rapide.

These autos are doing well in the States because they offer good looks in style in addition to a large number of amenities. Plus there is a large variety of hatchbacks so consumers can pick and choose what they want.

Third, today's hatchbacks are more secure. The hatchbacks of the past did not include a cover over the storage area and thieves could see what you had packed back there. Today's hatchbacks include a cover to hide the stuff.

If you are looking for something different and need lots of storage space, why not consider a hatchback? It stands out from the crowd while offering the same perks and features that sedan's do. There's tons to choose from on the market!
