So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Top Ideas for Cheap, Special Weddings

By Rebecca Lilly

Planning your wedding can be fantastic, exciting and even a little bit stressful. The best way to reduce the stress level is to be organized in your planning. It is very important keep a clear head, listen to each other's needs and wedding ideas and discuss them together. Start with an idea of how you think your big day should look and come out. Sit down and consider how you want to remember your wedding day. Most brides to be have a general idea of a few things. Maybe you always thought tiaras were nicer than veils or you know how your hair should be or have an idea of the fantastic bouquets or bridesmaid dresses. Start with what you absolutely know you want and build from there.

Sure, you can follow the common tradition, but having a special wedding become more and more popular recently. You don't have to be unique of your entire wedding, picking some special parts will be good, too. Try choosing a special location for your wedding, like a historic site, art gallery or other unique reception space. Go searching for ideas, and use them as inspiration for your own creative ideas. Think about what you look for to have thing involved such as your common interest and hobby. Try taking traditional wedding ideas and combine your own twist.

A wedding theme is one of the best ways to be creative with your wedding planning. It gives you a beginning point for your creativity, and helps you connect all of your ideas together. Wedding themes are often as simple as a color, and other options are more elaborate, like a masquerade wedding. Common themes include seashore, outdoors, seasonal (like fall or spring) and flower (like daisy or rose). Don't be worried to choose a one of a kind wedding theme. Even though you choose a standard wedding theme, try to let the creativity flow and change it a little bit to make it unique to you.

Wedding decorations are not only fun to deal with, but they can also cut down your wedding expenses. You don't have to go without them completely, but that doesn't mean you have to overspend. For example, instead of buying expensive flowers try decorating with balloons, streamers, and free-standing decorations instead. You may purchase a few spools of pretty ribbon at the nearest craft store or fabric store. Grab few balloons and tie them together using the strips of the ribbon. Also tie the ribbons into bows themselves, then tape the ribbon bows around for decorations by themselves.

Small wedding ideas for favors lean a lot toward homemade wedding favors, like candies or nuts neatly placed into boxes. These make nice little decorations around the tables set up for your guests. So whether you're planning a small-scale wedding due to financial reasons, the economy or you just like simplicity, these small wedding ideas should help you springboard more ideas to get the planning in gear for your wedding day.
