So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Taking Care Of Your Performance Car Parts

By Fiona Clarkson

If you are somebody that takes delight in your car or cars, and you install performance auto parts, in which case you know already that you have to be able to manage these parts. Probably the most well-known form of performance auto parts is the tires and rims, which can be situated and put on to any car ever made. In the event you go even a little bit of time such as a couple of weeks without cleaning these parts, it could make the look of your car go from hip to poor right away. Those wheels which have a bit of a bright finish will look bad if there's an over abundance of brake dust that has accumulated itself on the rim.

If you're using a bleaching agent to clean these areas, you are actually doing more harm than you are good. Whenever cleaning these areas you want to use a top quality washing soap, a wheel cleaner, a tire brush, and smaller brush, maybe even a toothbrush, to fully clean the smaller parts of your rims. When you're washing your car, you need to always begin by cleaning your wheels and just do that once they have cooled off from your driving. You run the risk of staining your tires in the event you wash them when they're warm. You have purchased these performance auto parts, so you should also take care of them.

The kind of cleaner that's recommended for cleaning the wheels are the kinds that you can spray on, leave a couple of seconds, after which just rinse off. These kinds of cleaners are totally free of acids and will not harm your tires just like some others on the market today.

As soon as you've accomplished this, it's on to the next performance car part; the rims. The first thing to do with the rims is to give them a great scrubbing to remove the dirt that has greatly set in to them. Then you need to put some more cleaner onto the rims, and start utilizing the tire brush, and also the toothbrush, to elaborately scrub the area. You might have to repeat this a few times to make sure you will find no spots that you skipped.

You need to always keep in mind to thoroughly dry off your rims and tires before putting any type of preservative on the tires. This way there is no left over residue such as cleaner that will get locked into the tire through the preservative.
