So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Wild Journey In Nepal

By Erin Richards

The Kingdom is the 3rd installment in the Fargo Adventure series if you're inquisitive about Clive Cussler books in chronological order. While this book has some puny points, it still is a really entertaining story. Please put aside all the harsh, literary feedback from folks who can't say anything nice and pick up this novel for pure fun and excitement. So let us push on into the book's basics.

Worrying news pushes Sam and Remi Fargo into the quest for a missing person. And not just any missing person, this person actually is their friend and collegue. So switching gears from treasure hunting to missing person search takes the Fargos from the U. S. to Nepal. And what they find leads not only to their pal, but to an antiquities black market dealing in fossils together with the inclusion of a corrupt Chinese army general. Top all this intrigue off with evil Texas billionaire pulling all of the, and you have the makings of a wonderful, fast paced book to hold your attention this weekend!

So what is the true motive of the Texan? It's the search for one artifact that holds traditional mystery. Held in high esteem, this artifact was guarded by squaddies who swore their lives to keep it safe and out of the hands of burglars and invading armed forces. To assert that finding this treasure proves to be a discouraging task is an understatement, but Sam and Remi prove they are the task.

Stuffed with intrigue, and plenty of suspense...The Kingdom is a great book to read when you just wish to run away from it all. There are tons of plot twists, impossible scenarios, and absolutely unbelievable strokes of good luck thrown into this story. However let's not forget the book is a made up story...and that is why it proves so much fun.

We don't read books because expect everything to be perfect with timelines, character development, and pacing...we read fiction books to be entertained and give us a short lived escape from our busy realities of everyday life. The Kingdom from writer Clive Cussler has proved to be just that ,, an enjoyable and fun to read break from the day to day we all live with.
