So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

5 Tips On Landscaping Designing Design

By Helen Whitfield

1.Don't Start without a Plan For the novice landscaper and eager gardening enthusiast, diving in right away without some proper planning can have disastrous effects. Many times most of the common landscaping errors can be avoided if one does some proper planning. A simple hand drawn picture can save you plenty of money and years of time in the end.

2.Forget about Symmetric Straight Lines Many people make the mistake to think that a garden planned along a symmetric grid will have some appeal. Fact is, in nature nothing grows or lives in a straight line!

3.Don?t Neglect the Front Yard Because our homes more often than not have the entertainment areas at the back of the yard, one tends to beautify the areas you spend the most time. Unfortunately this does no good to the general appeal of your home. Therefore it is important to keep in mind that you need to make the front yard equally attractive as the back yard where we tend to overdo the landscaping.

4.Keep the Future in Mind When you buy plants for your garden, keep in mind what the actual dimensions of the mature plant will be. You need to be forward thinking when selecting plants for your landscaping project. Many people only think about the moment and forget that you might have a lush yard during summer this year, but during fall and spring you still have to endure pale surroundings.

5.Not keeping others in mind It is a common landscaping error not to consider the rest of the family and their favorite activities in mind. Worst can be to make alterations that will have no value or be of interest for potential homebuyers should you need to sell hour house in a few years time. Always consider how other people will observe your ideas.
