So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Guide To Keeping Your Auto Repair Expenses Down

By Mark Walton

Most of society owns automobiles in this day and age. Most of us would not know what to do without one. We use them to get back and forth to work, to go grocery shopping, or just running errands. To keep a vehicle in good running condition we must be prepared to pay for any type of auto repair that may arise. Mostly it is routine maintenance, but if you are in an accident it will be need to be repaired at an authorized repair shop.

Routine maintenance is required for all vehicles which consist of oil changes and tune-ups. We need to have tires replaced every year, sometimes more often than that depending on how much we drive.

Having routine maintenance is critical for keeping your vehicle running properly. Every year the tires will most likely need to be changed depending on where you live and what you use your vehicle for the most. We also have unexpected repairs that can be very expensive, such as having an accident.

Taking your vehicle to the proper repair shop is crucial to keeping your vehicle running well. This should be done regularly, every so many miles. If we drive more than most people we may need to take it in more often for routine repairs. You can always take it to the auto dealer; some even offer this type of maintenance when you purchase the vehicle.

It can be expensive for unexpected repairs, so be careful of where you take it. A mechanic shop would suit your routine maintenance but for special repairs you might be better off taking it back to the dealer, especially if it is still under warranty.

If your vehicle is still under warranty you might be required to take it to the dealer in order for them to pay for it. If you take it somewhere else without the permission of the car dealer they may not honor the warranty. If it still under warranty you should not have to pay anything for the repair, especially if it is a malfunction with the vehicle itself.

Knowing where to have your auto repair done will depend on what needs to be done. Certain repairs may require you to take your vehicle to the car dealer. For example, if you have been involved in an accident, the insurance company may require you to use one of their repair shops.
