My canine sets it off when going outdoors. The light these put out is much more than enough to light a tree, side of a home, address, and so on.
The lamp body and top (including the ring) are constructed with forged aluminum which have been painted with what seems to be a good-quality paint. I needed a security light to cover the region around my patio door and deck. I believe that I received my moneys worth when I purchased this outdoor recessed lighting.
First, the mounting bracket it came with is kind of flimsy and did not perfectly mate with the electrical box into which I needed it to screw. I did some investigation on this business and supposedly they used to be an excellent company but like several American companies they used the very best kind of sourcing; "outsourcing". They're extremely responsive to motion. I figured maybe an eraser on a pencil might do the trick.
As far as I can tell, this fixture doesn't work with compact fluorescents bulbs (CFLs).
The lights I purchased were completely stunning. The sensors haven't worked correctly and so they will blink incessantly or just remain on. I was told that sometimes location just didn't work.
We just had a porch/patio installed and therefore are trying to keep with a nautical concept.
I had been utilizing less expensive lights that did not have the low-high movement detector configurations, and they just did not last. I attempted adjusting it but no luck.
Good look and quality construction. There is a fantastic "old fashion" look with the bubbles in the glass, and the contemporary features of the motion sensers with timer switches and so on. These lights only seem to be on for around four hours. It should have reverted to the softer light after 5 minutes, however it did not. I purchased two of these in December and they've been incredible.
I got myself this to use on the walk alongside my garage where there is really a step that needs illumination during the night.
They're simple to set up as I have zero electrical knowledge.
Again, that was probably because of the construction of our house, but was the only real hassle. Well-built lawn light, but doesn't put out as much light as most lawn lights, and colour of light isn't warm colour like most lawn lights. Fantastic item. This light is excellent. I recommend these products to individuals who, like me, usually forget to leave a light on. It's stunning and my hubby had no problem hanging it or setting the motion sensor.
