So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

The first thing we need to look at in regard to the Notebook from Acer is its overall price. For many years, the usual choice was either get a relatively inexpensive desktop or an expensive laptop. Traditionally, laptops are something more expensive, that is until the advent of the Aspire One notebook series. Although many will appreciate the portability of this particular unit, its small size has a few disadvantages in comparison to standard sized laptops.

Although this notebook is cost effective, full featured notebooks are available that are more versatile than the Acer One. Originally designed with a system integrated into smart phones, the dual operating system of the Aspire One Happy Notebook is also a great choice. Bright and beautiful, most Acer notebooks that are from the Happy line are colorful and attractive. The price tag is also higher; whereas the original Aspire One models can be found for around $250, you'll have to pay about twice that for an Aspire One Happy. One drawback of this model is that the Android OS was really made for a phone rather than a computer and doesn't function that well. If you like Acer, however, wait around for the upgrade which may be around the corner.

While the iPad is great for navigating the web or watching videos, it's not really meant for anything that requires writing, as you can't run applications such as Word on it.
