So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Japan Airlines - Helpful Hints

By Nevelle Bronomichi Xavier

When going to Japan, and other areas of Asia, you should consider using Nippon Air Company because of the specials that they offer and the comfort that they provide. For over 50 years, ANA has been a popular airline to use that is growing each and every year. If you are going to Asia, Japan, or some other destination in the Orient, Nippon Air Company will get you there in style - here's why.

Japan Airlines (ANA) has a really great record of awards and customer service satisfaction. It has earned four stars from SkyTrax, an organization that is well known for rating airlines based upon feedback from customers. This is an excellent rating, indicating that the airline consistently provides a high level of service in all areas. ANA recently won the SkyTrax award for World's Best Airport Services in 2011. It was also given the Staff Service Excellence Award for Asian Airlines which proves that the level of service offered by the ANA employees is really great. These awards are based upon the results from independent customer surveys so you know that that the awards SkyTrax gives out are a fair representation of the passengers' point of view.

Some airlines, Japan Airlines, included have realized that there is a need for a class of service between Economy and Business so they developed and now sell a Premium Economy class. This is useful for people whose budgets are limited but who want extra space and comfort that they can't find in normal Economy class. While you can't get Premium Economy on every single ANA flight but you can get it when you fly from Tokyo (Narita Airport, specifically) to Munich, Paris, DC, Chicago, San Francisco and LA. This choice gives you a better chance of stretching out while not making you pay the higher costs that are associated with First or Business class.

If you regularly fly to Japan you might want to think about joining the ANA Mileage Club, a frequent flyer program in which you can earn miles in lots of different ways. Not only will you accumulate frequent flier miles through flying, you also earn miles by staying at hotels like the Holiday Inn, ANA Crowne Plaza, InterContinental and other partner hotels. You can can earn miles by shopping with companies partnered with the ANA too. Because this airline is a member of the Star Alliance you can use your frequent flier miles on any airline that is also partnered with the Alliance. This way, no matter where in the world you're flying, you can earn miles that can be used however you want in the future.

Japan Airlines has a couple of major hubs, including Narita International Airport near Tokyo. Once you arrive in Japan, you will have access to many other Asian destinations from this busy airport located near Tokyo. After you land, Narita is located outside of Tokyo, and it will take you several hours to travel there once you arrive. Modern renovations have occurred at Narita Airport to get it up to date. Tokyo International Airport, also called Haneda Airport, is the other major airport that Nippon Air Company flies out of. This airport, however, is now mainly used for domestic flights, so if you're flying into Japan from overseas, you'll fly into Narita Airport. If you're going to Japan anytime in the future, All Nippon Airways is a great choice for traveling. ANA is an airline that is seeing growth in recent years, something that is not happening with most other airlines or companies the last decade. You should definitely check out ANA because of its customer service, reliability, and track record throughout the years.

Naturally, using the proper commercial airline is just half the fun. The other half, of course, would be to remain in a nice resort when you arrive. Seek advice from your travel agent for more information.
