So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Staying Within The Speed Limit: Handy Driving Tips

By Beverly Welch

When you're driving on a road, remember to stay within a group of other cars. This makes it much more difficult for a police officer to pick you away, as you aren't speeding looking at everyone.

Be aware of your current surroundings. Remember to have a look at the road ahead of a person, looking for any areas where a police officer could be hiding.

Make sure you be aware of speed limit of the region you're driving in. Keep a look out for any site visitors signs that tell you the current speed limit.

Continue to keep you car in good condition. For example, when you have a tail light out and about, you are going to be noticed easier by a police officer, since they are looking out for these kinds of issues. Make sure you spend your few dollars it costs to keep your car in good repair.

If you undertake get stopped through a police officer, always be considerate. If you are rude the slightest bit they will have something else versus you. Also, try not to volunteer too much data. Obviously you have to reply his questions, but don't add to much...just answer the particular question.

The first question the police officer will most likely request you is if you realize why you have been ceased. At this point, you have a few options to choose from.

To begin with, you can completely admit that you were speeding. The officer might appreciate this, as this is precisely what he wants. The actual officer may let you off with just a caution.

The down side in order to answering in this way is actually you're given a speeding ticket, and admitted which you were speeding then it can and will be used against you in the court. The authorities officer will be getting notes on everything you tell him, so if you feel that you will absolutely get a speeding priced then you should stay away from directly admit on the police officer that you had been speeding.

The second alternative you have is to refuse that you were speeding. Keep in mind that this approach is going to create some anxiety between you and the officer. If you don't have a good argument to influence the police officer that you weren't speeding, he will still give you a ticket.

The particular upside to this, however, is if you reject speeding, you have a much better chance of beating the ticket when it goes to the courtroom, because you denied speeding from the outset.

The third option you have is always to neither admit nor deny the fact you were speeding. Often this approach will work best. When you find yourself stopped and asked if you know why you have been stopped act as in case you don't know why. While he tells you that you just were speeding, explain to the officer in a calm and polite force that you just didn't notice...and offer a plausible excuse.
