So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Wedding Basics: Bridesmaid Dresses Your Personal Attendants Will Simply Love

By John Jones

Most women have mixed feelings about being asked to be a bridesmaid. On the one hand, they are happy for their friends, but on the other, they worry mightily about what they will be asked to wear. For some strange, unknown reason, brides-to-be have a habit of picking out ugly gowns for their friends. We're talking one step up from a bad prom dress. You know the dresses we mean: the puffy gowns with ruffles, frills and furbelows with colors so bright they can burn the eyes. Why would a bride-to-be ask her friends to wear these hideous contraptions?

After decades of sartorial neglect and abuse, bridesmaids are finally getting their day in the sun. The explanation for this unexpected volte-face is that most brides-to-be have reached the conclusion that it simply is not fair to ask their friends to wear something they don't like, especially when they are paying for it. And as wedding costs continue to rise, more and more women are ignoring tradition and giving their bridesmaids the option of choosing their own gowns.

The Crinkle Chiffon Dress with Ruffle Neckline: This dress perfectly meshes elegant femininity and casual comfort. Your bridesmaids will love the feel of the flowing crinkle chiffon fabric. Up top, this dress features white prom dressesa lovely front ruffle flattering the bust, which adds a unique and eye-catching touch.

The One-Shoulder Taffeta Dress: Every bridesmaid will love this pick. This one-shoulder silhouette is a top pick amongst even the most style conscious women, as it's trendy and versatile. The taffeta material serves as a special touch with its smooth and silky texture that always adds an extra glow.

Some of the most popular styles for plus size bridal dresses are two-piece gowns that can make the bridesmaid's waist look smaller and dresses paired with sashes. Bridesmaid gowns that come in two pieces or more are more flexible and colors can be easily mixed and match while keeping up with the wedding theme. It is also recommended to shop for undergarments for bridesmaids that are especially designed to further flatter their figure and help them look their best in their bridesmaid gowns. For the final fitting, it is very important for bridesmaids to bring along their undergarments and shoes with the dress, so that tailors can make the proper alterations just in time for the wedding.
