So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Not What I Expected - Edgestar Portable Air Conditioner Critique

By Samuel Anderson

So I'd have to put this thing really close to my face to feel the air. I wished fan speed was more powerful. From now on, I will hesitate on believing Amazon reviews because either the company is making fake reviews or they simply only post positive reviews. To elaborate: You have two options when using this fan; you can plug it in to a USB port on your pc or use batteries.

I researched at least 10 different portable fans and cooling devices but decided to get this one after reading the reviews and liking the aesthetics of it. It is a very good product.

Air won't reach you. You have to hold it up to your face to feel anything. I ordered it immediately. This little cooler provided immediate relief within seconds of adding batteries and water to the sponge. The eBay knockoff didn't cost much but when the filter didn't fit inside the unit it raised some questioning to how poorly they copied this handy cooler. After a mere 15 days, my Mini AC died on me. It just stopped working right in front of my eyes.

I do outdoor camping a lot and it gets too hot in the summer at times. This has helped keep my tent cool but I would prefer it to ventilate fresh air from outside, and this doesn't do this very well. Under this condition, the cooling worked well. When you're using this outside walking in the hot sun, it's easy for the wind to blow the fan's output away.

The concepts similar to those misting fans you see at some of restaurants or at some amusement parks, but this is a personal use version. It's a great idea.

I bought this back in March and never had a chance to use it. Now the temperature has got high enough to take this beauty to the test, and it has proven itself very worthy. The handy cooler comes in three colors, and I decided to get the black one. It doesn't weight too much which was my biggest issue. I wet the filter carefully before I turn the receiver on. I let the filter dry out and let it blow air without the cooling function. The effectiveness fall short of the swamp coolers I usually see in my town but it does well enough for its size. The base is sturdy so it doesn't have a problem standing up by itself.

I bought two and used them both on the trip therefore not allowing me to get any of my money back and it leaves me with two useless items. Good luck to those of you looking for a way to keep your car cool and should you find one, LET ME KNOW PLEASE, Purchased 3 of these for a trip.
