So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

By Brickter Bond

Lowering fuel expenditures is something many drivers are attempting to do, especially with the exorbitant gas prices. You'll find various easy ways that fuel usage can be limited by the average driver. Most of these don't even cost anything, and you can just make a few simple changes while driving to enjoy these benefits.

Do not ever waste your money on unproven products that claim you will get better mileage by using their product. Up to now, in accordance with the EPA, none of these treatments have been proven to work. Steer clear of the gimmicks or expensive products when you are trying to find ways to get better fuel efficiency. An easy way to save on fuel, that is only important at certain times, is to leave the air conditioner off. It's very apparent that a car is significantly less powerful and responsive when the air conditioner is running. The engine's functioning is influenced by using the air conditioner, and it'll decrease the gas mileage, as well. Only if the inside of your car is utterly unbearable, it will be a good idea to leave the air conditioner off.

It is slightly uncomfortable to begin with but you'll be surprised at the amount of fuel you can save. This method of saving may be off-putting for some drivers since it is quite comfortable to drive with the air conditioner on. Even so, if you think about it, there was a time when nobody had air conditioners in their cars. You can be more comfortable driving when you drive during the times of the day as soon as the temperature is cooler. Traveling during much cooler periods of the day has to be doable for most people. You really should direct your driving during the morning or evening hours.

You can simply drive with the help of the windows rolled down, letting in a nice cool breeze, especially when you are out on the highway. It is possible to reflect upon days well before air conditioners when the breeze was all that kept you cool. It does cost a modest amount of gasoline consumption when the windows are down when you are driving, but not like what the air conditioner costs. Chances are you'll have to tolerate the heat of the hot months in order to save on your fuel costs. Individuals have become so accustomed to the added conveniences put in the automobile, that they don't remember when cars first had radios. Maybe the majority of drivers nowadays, weren't even born then. We're dwelling in a time when things need to be prioritized, and saving money on fuel might be more important than comfort.

You might not think that when you're driving down the highway uncomfortable in the heat. But if you don't need to fill up nearly as frequently, that should make you feel better. By merely not flipping on the air conditioner except if it is absolutely necessary will save you money on gas.
