So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Company Gifts Prove To Clients And Vendors That They Matter

By Guido Brouwers

Corporate gifts add that special, individualized touch to a company's relationships with its clients and vendors that so many companies no longer take the time to nurture. They also prove the company is serious about maintaining long term relationships.

In reality when you take the time and effort to supply meticulously chosen gifts to those whose work is necessary to your company and to those that spend their cash with your business, you show how much you put a value on faithfulness. In the present day's business climate, that can set you apart from the cold and impersonal treatment so many expect.

Whether you do business mostly in Cape Town, around South Africa or around the globe, offering company gifts is an idea that lands just as well in Chicago as in Cape Town.

Vendors who feel valued are more likely to go the additional mile for their clients, and customers who understand how much they're appreciated are more likely to spend cash with you instead of a rival.

Your vendors and clients may not be expecting a gift at all, but they aren't likely to turn down a well-chosen present. To be sure your company gift is well received, take these three actions:

1. Give a bit more than anticipated.

If you've given gifts in the past, you have already set up expectations. Are your clients and vendors expecting you to disappoint them again or to measure up to your regular high standard? Whatever the reality, giving more than before is sure to be a good policy. Seeming to be cheap or seeming to scale back never is. When you prove that you're a better company than you've shown in the past, you are doing the right thing.

2. Give better quality than anticipated.

If you are certain nothing is anticipated of your company, perhaps you can depend on the element of surprise to impress your clients and suppliers. If the people with whom you do business are expecting something nonetheless , you wish to ensure you provide the highest quality corporate gifts Cape Town has to offer. In reality you should always give the best your company can reasonably afford based on the nature and quality of your relationship with the contact. Being a company known for the best benefits you in some ways.

3. Give at a time that isn't anticipated.

While your company can have a reputation for gift-giving in the holidays, remember the anniversary of your relationship with the individual and the customer's or account representative's birthday, for example. These and many other times are also appropriate occasions for giving a gift from your company. Gifts frequently land better when they come at a time that's totally unexpected.

Proving Yourself Never Hurts

You may not feel that your company has anything to prove by giving gifts. You could even be slightly disturbed that gift-giving is expected when you'd rather spend your budget on pay increases, equipment purchases or other business expenses. Ultimately , those feelings don't matter.

A company that is seen to be giving rather than grudging is positioned well for success, and company gifts are an indication of generosity.

Does your company have a reputation for generousness or pointlessly tough austerity? Whatever the truth, surpass everyone's expectations by giving generous gifts, and you will probably see results that surpass yours.
