So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Two Types Of Andy's Breading For Chicken

By Aaron Lee

If you want just the right crispy chicken for your family's lunches or dinners, try Andy's breading for chicken. It is available both in hot'n spicy or mild flavors and is easy on the budget and simple to use. There is a wide variety of unique meals which can be made with one of these two mixtures.

Andy's can be used for basic fried chicken. Just follow the simple directions and bake for the amount of time specified. Both tender white and dark meat pieces will have just the right crispy texture. They make a satisfying meal served with mashed potatoes and fried okra or potato salad and watermelon wedges.

Prepare chicken breasts in the same manner. Bread them and bake to create varied entree items. Different sauces and condiments will help give your meals variety and eye-appeal. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes and choice of vegetable.

A variety of sandwiches can be made from this breading and fresh chicken breasts. Bread and bake or fry the breasts, place between a wheat or white bun and add cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes and other toppings of your choice. They taste great with chips, fries or fresh fruit.

Another way to prepare meat is to pound the raw breasts until flat. Bread with Andy's product and fry until crisp. These chicken breasts are best served with mashed potatoes, cream gravy and corn on the cob. They also can be served as a sandwich by adding lettuce, tomatoes, and your favorite condiments.

Appetizers taste extra crispy when made with Andy's breading. Bread breast chunks, legs or wings in the Hot'n Spicy mixture and bake until brown and tender. These are best served with carrots, celery, ranch and bleu cheese dressings.

Try the mild breading product to make children's meals. Cut strips of the meat, dip in a milk and egg mixture and shake until coated. These can either be baked or fried according to personal preference and served with French fries and ketchup.

Chicken strips with either flavor are exceptionally tasty on a bed of lettuce or fresh spinach. Boiled egg slices, cherry tomatoes and sliced cucumbers will complement this healthy fare. Ranch or honey mustard dressings will add flavor for either lunch or dinner. Romaine lettuce tossed in Caesar dressing and Parmesan cheese and topped with the crispy strips and croutons is another light salad option.

Those new to cooking and seasoned professionals will find many meal options with Andy's breading for chicken. There are so many new and exciting ways to use this grocery item. Try one of these suggestions for finger-licking good family meals soon.
