So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Basic Facts About Clothing Labels

By Gloria Gardner

Clothing labels is the term that may be used to describe brands or the physical labeling that is placed on garments. Branding is used as a way to identify a service or good. In this case, brands are the businesses that produce garments. Textile labeling is the item affixed to products.

This type of labeling is found in the majority of clothing items. This usually includes brand information and instructions on how to care for the particular garment. The FTC, or Federal Trade Commission, requires this of products that are sold in America. Sometimes, these markers are required to include the tax identification numbers as well as the garment material contents.

Tags of this sort can be grouped into one of four classifications. These categories are determined by the tag material and the attachment technique. For example: plastic or PVC, leather, woven and embroidered. This element is a big art of the brand identification process.

In general, these items include all of the needed information regarding the garment. For example, care instructions, size, place of manufacturing and the brand. These details are important to consumers.

Brands and these textile tags work together. Brands can be a name, term, design or symbol. Branding itself is important when it comes to sale of products and services of any and all kinds. Therefore, these markers tend to include some level of brand information.

Clothing labels may refer to a garment brand or the textile label that is placed inside of these garments. These two elements go hand in hand and are important for both the manufacturer and the consumer. The physical label is important because it includes information about the original manufacturer, origin of production, material type, care instructions, size and other details. Essentially, these items serve as a manual of sorts, informing consumers of the details related to that specific garment.
