So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

DIY: Setup a Hauling Truck

By Darnell Austria

Making your own trailer that will transport your bike comfortably is certainly one great way to travel with your bike in one piece and buckled comfortably as you chill out and enjoy the panorama. After all, you would like to maintain the paint and chrome fresh and spotless. Right?

This particular setup can certainly haul 3 bikes in a good trailer and that's what exactly we require, to maximize the availability of area. The whole operation will take little amount of time and physical skill; the results are awesome even on a decent trailer like ours.

Step 1: Begin with by sawing some lengths of E-track to be used for the D-ring fasteners to support the bike down.

Step 2: The E-track is going to be attached to the wood floor of the truck; some individuals prefer quite a few hardware bolt through with a nut on the bottom.

Step 3: When in position on both ends of the trailer the E-track will offer several installation spots of the D-rings to make sure that any length motorcycle can be lodged.

Step 4: Next, mark the area you desire the removable chocks and label the spot where the installation pads will be installed.

Step 5: These go through mounting bolts with washers and lock nuts.

Step 6: This is a great view at the tabs which are on the bottom of the chocks and how they glide in the receivers.

Step 7: Use two sets of installation components to make certain that either a skinny chock, for a thin 21 inch tire, or a broad wheel, for a fat tire fastener could be put to use.

Step 8: The front tire of the 1949 motorcycle is is mounted in the slim chock, this is basically the perfect fit and will not let the slim tire loose.

Step 9: After that, are the strap racks. Having a carrier that keeps things sorted out is a good way to make certain practically nothing gets misplaced and to keep your truck neat and tidy.

That's it; an easy approach to build a lifting trailer regardless if there's only a little space. It only takes a handful of supplies together with a little bit of time and energy, and you'll accomplish it in not time. You could carry nearly every motorbike with this setup. This is great for moving old classic motorbikes since you know how delicate they may be and securing them this way is the greatest technique of doing it.

As always, just before all of us head out and part ways, make sure "always" wear protective gear when riding on a motorcycle. Whether you happen to be travelling to another state or simply around the corner, you will never know when the time comes if a collision might possibly occur. Take a look at this cool video of a sophisticated German motorcycle helmet that is the toughest sold on the market. It is made of Kevlar and carbon fiber; this gives you the lightest, strongest, and the most crafted motorcycle headgear you will find in the market! Have a happy ride and safety is often number one.
